For the YAMATO ship and wreck I used two DeAgostini models at 1/1250 scale.
For the sea bottom I used natural sand and PVA Glue
I painted with Vallejo Air Acrylic colors

Once again you never stop amazing us with your work 4thecraft excellent job on Yamato before and after. It looks so real or should I cir-real😋😋😋.
That must have been tricky using a table hand saw 🪚 to the bow of the Yamato in half and probably time consuming to.
Oh I definitely heard of world of war ships they included Bismarck and hood in that game.
😲 Wow 😲 they included famous warships from the U.S. to like Missouri, Arizona, the Johnston and king George the fifth even destroyers that's pretty cool 😎😀.
Oh the Italian battleship Roma is in this game to that's awesome 😎😀.
I am LOVING the before-after dioramas of yours!
Thank you 🙂
I think you should make a 1/400 titanic model of the wreck or the split, I think that would be amazing with the amount of detail you could put in. Also, love the Yamato diorama.
Honestly it really bothers me when a wreck lands upside down. The only thing we ever see of it for eternity is the bare keel.
I’m filling a complaint to all these tens of thousands ton warships for being so inconsiderate to hide their eternal beauty.
Don’t file one for this, it’s my favorite battleship.
lol
not to be a show off but when I was a child I knew everything about everyship
It ruins the ship and any chance of ever exploring into it with robots or other submersibles
The ocean movement detail is superb! I almost get seasick looking at it.
Thank you very much!
You make these dioramas so real. I feel like I was there. Thanks, Michael.
Thank you too. I am glad you like them
Gorgeous model, perfect size. Well done, would like to see more of this type of models. Stunning.
Many thanks! More will come, so stay tuned
I heard Yamato had at least a thousand water tight compartments to seal out the water but it didn't help in the final battle as she was pomped and bombarded with torpedo holes, and bomb, holes and shell holes so she was pretty much dead in the water by the time she was set s fire by her enemies.
Those water effects came out real good.
I never had the patience for high detailed models. Really Enjoy all your work. It's almost hypnotic.
Thank you very much!
I love these dioramas of yours!!! I really want to make one of my own!!!
❤️❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you. Yes , why not? You should try it
Rest in peace to the men who served on this beauty of a vessel. They may have been our enemies, but they're human too.
👍👍 I agree
Incredible. Amazing job as always.
Thanks again!
Love to see one of the Bismarck.
This is awesome work 4thecraft Yamato before and after is like the ultimate 🥏 in Diorama making I think you advanced to such a level you are practically a professional keep it up.
Thank you so much mate 🙏
Brilliantly done, Michael! Your work is incredible. Thank you for sharing this with us :)
Thank you very much 🙏. Glad you liked it
Your work is beautiful and it's an absolute pleasure and therapeutical to watch
Thank you so much 😀
Oh, my God, the details of the water. Oh my god there's so good you should be paid for making them
Truly gorgeous! A BEFORE and AFTER of the transatlantic Lusitania would be nice as the next model...
YAMATO was really more trouble than she was worth. She needed insane amounts of fuel, she was a bear to maneuver, and thanks to Japan having a bee in their bonnet about fighting a Big Decisive Battle, she didn't accomplish much outside of wounding a few Tin Cans before those same small vessels scared her off with a spread of torpedoes. And then she got thrown away in a boneheaded suicide charge because of a superior officer's wounded pride.
日本の最高の技術を作ってくれてありがとう😊
Another awesome diorama!!!! You make such beautiful art!!! ❤😊❤
Thank you so much 😀
@@4THECRAFT you are welcome 🤗
Incredible work for once more Michael. The corrosion details and the tiny cannons are mind blowing.
Thank you my friend 👍
Attention to detail is amazing! Bravo!
Thank you very much!
i love these dioramas😀
I say the wreck version you made is fantastically accurate the way you made the corrosion and rust on the hull.
Thanks mate 👍
I like that you made the hull of the sailing Yamato a lighter gray than what was originally molded in dark grey. Brings her out more in the 🕯️ light.
i love this art. it would be awsome to look at it everyday
I LOVE these type of dioramas
PS:You are the best youtuber on youtube that is making epoxy resin art
Thank you
I like the Yamato when I was little :D
Your videos are more efficient than 2 years of therapy 🙏
Thank you. Means a lot 🙏
Extraordinary! A brilliant idea, perfectly executed, magnificent result - inspirational!
Thank you very much!
¡Excelente trabajo!😊
Thank you
Your attention to detail is amazing.
Thank you very much!
Your ideas is very creative
Gods that's amazing! I wish I could make or own something so gorgeous for my favorite warship.
Thank you. What is your favorite warship?
@@4THECRAFT The Yamato actually!
I agree the ship needed more colors nice job fixing up the sailing Yamato by spiffing up the entire ship to look like a work of art.
The world of warships game seems to show the Missouri class, Arizona, class, Bismarck class and the Fletcher class warship I'll bet USS Wisconsin is in the game to.
Круто что ты делаешь такой творение
Thanks
I real like yamato shipwreck my most favorite shipwreck ever and also my most favorite battle ship is the yamato😊
Awesome. Next I would love for you to do the Tirpitz capsized in the Tromsofjord.
That would be cool! I will research it. Thanks
After I did use that corrosion texture as you remember on my titanic wreck diorama to .
i love this before and after diorama ! i want to buy this because it´s so beautyfull ;)
Glad you like it!
Im still amazed how Yamatos stern ended on the bottom of the Pacific ocean upsidedown cause she capsized and a hudge gaping hole indicating the explosion 💥 in hull after her magazine detonated and caused the bow sher off and funny enough the bow is the smallest section laying upside up with lots of debris laying around her as result of the aftermath of the battle operation ten-go.
I want you to do more modules like this because it's so amazing with the work
Thanks 👍
Need a diorama of the battle it took to send this ship to the bottom...& one for the Musashi too...
This is the closest I've ever been to finding photos of the wreck. Haven't looked for a while though.
Great work my friend! Can you do Star wars space battles diorama?
Thank you. As a start wars fan I always wanted to make some star wars dioramas so I will surely do something star wars related in the future
@@4THECRAFT Thanks!
That’s super cool
I wish i had ur skills man great work
Thank you so much 😀
Love AK INTERACTIVE corrosion texture that diorama effects material is the best rust effects in a jar ever to be sold in the market.
Yes i also like this material 👌
can you make a diorama of the Edmund Fitzgerald ship before and after diorama?
Thanks for the suggestion
I will think about it.
wow! these are amazing!
Thank you! Cheers!
👏🏽Потрясающе, две модели + эпоксидная смола. Можно было бы глубинную живность обитающую под водой...👍🏼
I sure there are living creatures but the main focus on this diorama was on the Yamato battleship herself and it is the tops for this build I am impressed.
Love your work
Thank you! Cheers!
Any chance you can do this for more warship wrecks? maybe Johnston, Lexington, or Akagi
I see an opportunity for maybe USS Johnston.
Johnston played an important role in the fight against the Japanese armada as Yamato was in that battle. Japanese vs taffy 3 destroyers Johnston and Samuel B Roberts played their part in defending taffy 3 and were sunk by heavy Japanese cruisers Kongo and kumana and chakuma.
And I believe Yamato fired at USS Johnston as described in the history dogfights documentary film.
Yes , I really like these before and after dioramas so I will try to make more. Of course I don't want my channel to be only about these dioramas, so I will make one every once and a while
@@4THECRAFT in that case I would highly recommend the Lexington. By chance, do you make these for sale too?
Very nice 👏🏾👏🏾
Thank you! 😊
Can you make a Atomic Bomb Explosion Diorama?
Great project and really nice Diorama. The wreck looks great and boy I can feel you with the rigging. I rigged the Revell 1:1200 Titanic as well.😂
Then you know 🙂
Do rms Lusitania before and after
Found you from Reddit - absolutely amazing work!
Awesome, thank you!
May u do empress of Britain? It’s my favourite ship u can also do it if u want now I have idea how the wreck is bc it did sink and also u tryed to see the wreck I didn’t find any maybe u can find it
Thank you for the suggestion. I will try to find it
Perfect model! I love your models.
Thank you very much!
The ship was beautiful the diroma is beautiful but the ships power wasn't enough... Rest in peace.
Nice
όμορφος !!! thank you .
How about doing one of the Battleship North Carolina doing a shore bombardment?
Thanks for the suggestion
You 3D printed 🖨️ japanese zeros for the Yamatos plane catapult and flight deck that's good idea cause the never put aircraft in the ships that are miniature in 1/1250scale.
Can you make a diorama of the Doña Paz wreck and before
Thanks for the suggestion
Infact Micheal if you have noticed that the Japanese tried to mix their warships by making both battleship and aircraft carrier mixed to together on one hull by adding a flight deck on the stern of the battleships one such a battleship existed in the world war 2 era the Japanese armada created a battleship the was part battleship - part aircraft carrier they squeezed as many gun artillery and range finders as much as possible. That including a flight deck put on the stern so zeros could fly and land on this mixed warship.
We'll call it a battlecarrier.
Actually there was a Japanese aircraft carrying battle cruiser and it was called "Mogami"
@@4THECRAFT mogami really I never knew that till now
@@4THECRAFT I've seen a model maker use cardboard and paper and other stuff like toothpicks and hot glue to create an imperial Japanese Navy battle aircraft carrying cruiser you described to me seems pretty genius to mix these ships into one that's incredible design but I don't think the aircraft would've had enough runway for takeoff plus I think there probably a lot of crashes during landing procedures. I.J.N. MOGAMI I'll look that one up thanks for the name of the vessel good buddy.
@@4THECRAFT i seen the pictures of the IJN mogami it's impressive that she was a simple battlecruiser and then modified to have a flight deck put on her but it must have been a pain to crame all her guns in confined spaces all in all a mix ship pretty cool.
素晴らしいありがとうございます。
Many thanks 👍
nice work and greek accent
Thanks! 😃
Excellent work!
Many thanks!
Lovely work as always. Do you have a video where your epoxy resin pour is not clear...but mostly opaque? I'm trying to recreate a rain squall to mount on a diorama. Would be very appreciative ($ Thanks button?) for any suggestions
Absolutely spectacular once again! I love how you used the deagostini models for it i must ask did you get them from ebay? I have a hard time locating them my self i absolutely love these models
Thank you. I got them from a store in Greece called Fasma Models
Very nice!!!
Thanks!!
My 8 year old son wants you to do the Edmond Fitzgerald.
Thanks . Noted ✅️
Would you ever do any of wrecks that are visible on satilite (such as Prinz Eugen as an example), or would that be overly complicated?
Thanks for the suggestion. I will check it out
Did you degas the acrylic before pouring? Amazing work!
No. I just poured it very carefully. Thank you 🙂
Yooo do the rms Lusitania
Can you do Lusitania 😊
Wow oh my god
Model ship are challenging
Can you do a diorama of her sistership, the Musashi exactly the same, what you’ve done with your Yamato
Yes I will put it on my to do list
@@4THECRAFT also would love to see a diorama of the wrecks of HMS Prince of Wales, and HMS Repulse
And the wrecks of HMS Hood and the Bismarck
@kaihumphreys2067 I have already done the bismarck. Check my older videos. My next video will be about HMS Hood but not a before and after diorama
I would buy this
Love to see one like this of titanic
He already did that
@@volatilemage1322 I remember the Titanic, but not one that was before, and after like this one, unless I missed it
@@Marcrussophotography 4thecraft did say that he liked the idea I had for a diorama called raise the titanic like from the 1980 film and novel called raise the titanic.
I already did that and you can find it in my older videos
@@4THECRAFT I told this guy that you did the diorama titanic before and after I guess some people don't pay attention not to be rude or anything.
es el mejor canal
Thank you 🙂
Can you do a diorama of the atocha
I think 1:1200 scale or?It look so real and perfect.I built a 1 200 Yamato from Glow2b.....and it looks no difference.great work i love your Videos! Can you make a Hms Hood vs Bismarck battle diorama.👍
Thank you. Actually it is 1/1250 scale . My next video (if i dont mess up) will be about the sinking of HMS Hood so stay tuned 👍
@@4THECRAFT Oh sorry!I can't wait for it!
Dynamite diorama! One question is the layout of the wreck accurate to the actual one sitting at the bottom now?
Thank you. As i say in my video, the 2 pieces are crossed to each oher in the real wreck, so I placed the pieces a bit differently for display purposes
What about sinking USS Lexington diorama
It is the ghost of the ship who wants to see the world 1 last time😢
Isnt their less of the stern for the wreck ?
Can you do a before and after of HMS Prince of Wales?
Thanks. I will consider it
@@4THECRAFT I’m glad
HOLA UNA PREGUNTA PODRÍAS HACER EL R.M.S LUSITANIA POR FAVOR
