Brilliant bit of foraging with a genuinely wholesome, feel-good cook up 😊 I normally skip the cooking part of videos like this but it was brilliant - great looking recipe and lovely interaction between the two of you, not many things better than cooking with Mum. I dont know Liverpool at all, but just had a look on google maps. You have estuaries that don’t look too muddy, I expect you would get cockles and clams at Morecombe maybe even razorclams. I’m doing a razor clam video next week but have a look at Fishlocker and his foraging videos in the meanwhile. I think his estuaries would be more like yours. Big old tides coming in the next few days so no better time to hunt for them. As far as lobbies and crabs....mmmm. You need a really rocky shoreline....Keep your eyes peeled and best of luck, keep me posted

Well that means they’re about..and no better tide in the year than this one to find them , really fun to collect and very tasty, purge them well in sea water for 12 hrs at least. Go get em girl

Love these vids just recently found your channel, me and my partner have just moved to Cornwall (port isaac area) and really want to get in to foraging, where are good places to look for crab, lobster, prawns and scallops near here? Any advice would be great, wed love to get some of our own gear too, already have full body wetsuits though. 😊
anywhere there is a defined rocky /reef shoreline is great for crustaceans. Wait for the big spring tides each month and get searching. I could possibly do a little session with you to give you some pointers.
