This was def one of my favorite things about dudu healing in DF, they started to really lean into the idea of you switching forms more during combat, I'm very glad they are just doing more of that/expanding on it
sin duda eres el mejor creador de contenido explicando las cosas, una clase compleja como sera el wildwalker lo has explicado muy bien. Muchas gracias por tu contenido yumy.
Literally all of this looks great. Keeping great damage and smoother transitions, have plenty of heals with now more options for quick burst healing, looks like they are reducing how many buttons will be in our rotation which reduces complexity. I’m happy! Great video thanks Growl
Honestly i just hate dpsing as a healer. Like, I'll throw a moonfire and sunfire but I'm absolutely not shape shifting or doing damage to do healing. There's a reason i chose a healing spec and not a dps spec. Dps sucks and is too stressful. I also don't really do a ton of m+. Mostly just a raid healer.
I love my resto druid. I hate cat weaving….I like range…I hope they are not making it that meta is only cat weaving….no incap. roar…that is just wrong 😢
Doesn't monk then diminish disc? At first damage to heal conversion was pretty much exclusively a disc thing, then it became a paladin thing, then a monk thing, and druid had a talent for heal to damage conversion. Fact of the matter is that all healers already dps, and it can feel pretty pointless at times so making your dps also heal atleast makes it feel less worthless
Wait boomkin is gone? No more slowfall? smh. Fluid form sounds annoying af. I have all those on the same buttons because they change with form so I will need to change my keybinds for that
Super happy Swarm is going away. It was strong, but really irritating to upkeep throughout a whole dungeon. Really disappointed moonkin isn’t available for resto 😔😔
I'd really love to see Heart of the Wild last like 20 seconds and have 2 charges on a 4 minute cooldown. It'd really help with the continuous weaving because every time I seem to get a chance to dps a dps runs into crap and makes me shift back and start healing again.😂
Why can't they just take a node of making Sunfire spread to AoE out and make Sunfire what it used to be and just an AoE standard spell? That is such a waste of a node and if they make Sunfire AoE as standard then the node can be used for something way more useful
Thank you Growl for these first peeks and thoughts for my beloved Resto. Looks like we will figure it out like we always do. I do not play high mythic... so we be good, and we be fluid! ;-)
Does the grove guardian playstyle seem to be good / still as viable as it has been in season 3 of dragonflight, or does it feel weaker / stronger / about the same?
@@фанатКуплинова-ь1е That doesn't necessarily mean that the playstyle itself is retained well, nor does it mean it's viable. I was curious if he has played around with it at all in dungeons since the grove guardian era is arguably one of the best eras resto druids have had for m+ content.
@@gringoboy701 Lol.. Obviously, which is why I am asking how they feel now that we have the hero talent tree affecting them. How is this difficult to understand?
@@Wolfy527 I literally answered your question. It's less viable, AKA weaker than season 3. They are nerfing their healing. They are nerfing their wild growth. You will no longer have tier set. The only compensation is a +20% healing node and a mini cenarion ward node. That isnt going to make up the massive output nerf going into the expansion. How is this difficult to understand?
They just need to make moonkin form baseline, no reason for it not to be at this point, i was excited about fluid form cause i like wrath and starsurge weaving but the talent feels pointless now for me at least hopefully they bring it back as an option for resto some way even if they dont make the form baseline. Other then that i do like everything else going on with resto so far
Bummed to see Adaptive Swarm gone. I understand the reason, but i enjoyed the visual of having multiple swarms jumping between the party and mobs. The playstyle also felt like always having something to maintain. Going to miss it for sure.
Fluid form is nice, but i wanna mention that heal/harm macros, on catform abilities is a "must" , i got 3 of my most used heals on a heal/harm macro so when im dpsing in catform i can instantly switch to a friendly and cast a healing spell, forcing me out of cat form. The reason i mention it is because i saw you manually going from cat-> human form and thats easily fixed with heal/harm macros like that. Just a quick tip
Spec tree is an absolute mess and its clear they're flailing for ideas on what to do with the spec. Flourish/photo on a split node is a joke for raid, vi/prosp on a split is a joke for m+. Losing current 4p will hit hard in tww (weird how monks keep there's lmao). Besides MOTW there's not much, if any, reason to bring a rdruid to competitive content.
What a fucking stupid change. Why did they take away adaptive swarm? That was the only spell that made resto kinda interesting. First they updated the visuals and now they take it away. So stupid
Being able to freely switch from healing to cat to healing seems so good
@@silusjackson7244 there are some gcd annoyances in the current iteration that i think they are alluding to
Shapeshift has 1sec GCD now. So going from human to cat, then rake, then human again was 2.5 sec (less due to haste). Now it will be 1sec less.
@@silusjackson7244 Nope. Because of WoD powershifting, they put GCDs into shapeshifting which made catweaving feel like total azz
@@silusjackson7244 Shapeshifts are not GCD's anymore
Means ur gonna need additional keybinds

Qué grande, tio, tienes toda la razón
Does anyone else hate grove guardians?

super excited about the shape shifting changes, they sound great on paper hope i feels good too!
This sounds interesting. Excited to see how it turns out in the end.
Between WIldstalker Resto and Chosen of Elune Guardian looks like Druid is shaping up to be a ton of fun this xpac
"shaping up" - I see what you did there.

I was always a fan of cat healers back in the day. Its the reason i only play fistweaver and the rare disc. Even paladin can sorta do it
I love my resto druid. I hate cat weaving….I like range…I hope they are not making it that meta is only cat weaving….no incap. roar…that is just wrong 😢
I'm here to co-sign. I will never catweave I don't care if it's meta. I don't like it, I'm not doing it 😅
@omglauraelizabeth I agree, I skipped out on catweaving talents and just run all balance for dps. And I only press it when I want to 😅
7:15 nice treant bind
No one going to talk about how STACKED that dungeon group is? Meeres, Growl, Dorki, Roger and Tettles all in one group? New MDI team?
I don't want every class to have damage to healing conversion. I feel like it cheapens the monk and disc specs that lean into that style.
Doesn't monk then diminish disc? At first damage to heal conversion was pretty much exclusively a disc thing, then it became a paladin thing, then a monk thing, and druid had a talent for heal to damage conversion.

Moving Flourish to choice node with Photosynth is a distasteful change. Make it much stronger or put it back as a single node.
So glad adaptive swarm is gone. That button never felt good to press.
Thank you for the early peek friend Growl. I will say that making Flourish and Photo a choice node hurt me in the meow meow.
can u take a look to a Resto shamana ?
I like the GCD change, but kinda irritated then that there is no Moonkin form...
At least Balance is gonna feel cool.
With the new location with flurish, i hope they undo all nerfs to it.
They messed Druids UP
What
Sadly won't be able to use 'flap' in moonkin form to skip
Wait boomkin is gone? No more slowfall? smh.

so many good nodes is a good thing. it prevents cookie cutter builds. I love form weaving and this change sings with me
This is all nice, but I really want to see the next episode of the undercover dps haha
Thanks for the update! I have been wondering if I was going to stay Druid healing or not.
Thank you Growl for these first peeks and thoughts for my beloved Resto. Looks like we will figure it out like we always do. I do not play high mythic... so we be good, and we be fluid! ;-)
The wild middle tree is like one of the best for all classes
Love rdrood
so resto back to more crit and less mastery?
Holy Paladin pls

You have one whole hero talent tree option dedicated to them

Of course its not as viable. Grove guardians are carried by the tier set bonus.
