Not sure if anyone else mentioned it. Blizzard did confirm that items gained before warbands goes live will not be able to be unlocked with any character. So, if you can't unlock it there is no reason currently to keep it.

For some reason, I highly doubt the transmog you collect now, and cant learn, will suddenly become become learned upon the pre patch. It would be awesome if it did, but I have a strong feeling it will be any items looted after this time. A mage still wont be able to equip a leather item for example, so for it to work like you say, the game will have to scan your bags/bank, and learn it all at once. Or maybe you can put old soulbound items in the shared bank for a suitable class to take it out and learn the tmog. Do you have any real confirmation that farming things now will learn them at pre patch?
I keep thinking the same thing. It may only be warbound gear or newly soulbound gear that is added to your appearances collection, rather than all soulbound gear currently in our bags.
Didn’t blizzard mention it will work from start with TWW and after they gonna work towards older expansions.

they did it when they made all xmog account wide, so why not? But, more than likely not, it's worth a shot to see though. To have Tusks of Mannaroth pop as available day one would be wonderful (since i've only been able to acquire it on leather wearer).
The mage will not equip the leather item, the leather item appearance will be added to the Transmog Set.
catching up alts to your main/s will be sooo much easier with the Warbound system, i look forward to going ham as soon as Pre-Patch Day arises.
I just hope the devs allow Raid leads to pick, and LFR to auto apply Personal loot It's bad enough right now trying to gear alts with people ninja rolling gear, imagine how much worse it'll be when ppl can say "Oh I need this for my alt" or "It's the last piece I need for my warrior" *Priest* I'm stoked for this system, but that is one huge fear I hope the devs have already thought about

@@JflykellerBlizzard said that people rolling gear for their current class will always have priority over other classes rolling for gear, so if a priest and a warrior roll a gear item, it’s impossible for the warrior to get it
also keep in mind you have a void storage bank, use it for items you dont wanna fill your bank up
A seamless combo between dynamic and regular flight would be awesome. Like zoom around and then stop and hover for a bit.

Definitely! Swapped my main for the first time and don't see the point in doing it all again.
The alt situation speaks to a much larger problem. The first alts were bankers who existed only to hold things for your main. Then people made alts to cover the professions. If WOW would let us do all of the professions on one character we would only need alts when we actually wanted to play a new class. How much time do players spend leveling and gearing alts just in case?
It would be a good start if they'd turn gathering professions into secondary professions, or if they thought that was too OP, at least let us have 1 gathering profession and 2 crafting professions. I'd love to add Mining back onto my main who has been Blacksmithing/Engineering for 15 years now. To not have to level an alt just to feed my paladin ore would be really nice.
has transmog being granted retroactively been confirmed yet? Last I heard there was no official answer to whether or not we should keep other class tmog because it wasnt confirmed that tmogs already acquired prior to prepatch would be added to your appearence. I had assumed that it would be implemented from prepatch tmog farming and onwards.

Can’t wait for dynamic flight, more exciting than anything else. I can ride invincible, other dragons with features DR dragons don’t have. And the best part is I can fly a mana Ray like an avatar ikran. I will still ride dragonriding dragons I liked most, hopefully they don’t overlap favorites during WW
New player here, instead of the bank could i store every tmog in the Void Storage instead?
There is no reason to keep them currently. So, warrior can still not unlock cloth appearance if you got it before the patch goes live.

So if I farm a xmog now and save it on the side, once WW comes out I'll be able to use the xmogs on any class? Or am I misunderstanding something?
No, the way it’s gonna work is that, say, if plate drops while you’re on a cloth wearer then you’ll learn it on the account but it’ll still only be moggable by plate wearing classes. It’s not fully opening up but I think it’s a decent step in the right direction
You can only obtain models on any class
Also, you need to get it after the patch goes live. So, it won't work if you got it before the patch. Blizzard has confirmed this.

Dal!! Don't buy those potions that change the sky anymore!! Get the Date simulation Modulator!! Toy from the Love is in The Air event. Gives you like 3 diff options to change the sky, and the "Midnight with fireflies" is Awesome!!!!! I'd deff look into getting that instead of constantly buying those day and night potions. Toy's animations look better IMO haha.

Yeah, any gear obtained before TWW launch cant be used to get TMOG. It has to be farmed after TWW releases. Blizz confirmed this at Blizzcon in a deep dive.

Is that case? I don’t think that’s how I perceived it. How I perceived is if your cloth char gets a plate that means anyone from your warband that wear plates can use it to transmog. Not necessarily the cloth can transmog into plate.

i think you misunderstand, Classes are still locked to using THEIR type of Armor, say for example you get the Defias set pieces on someone other than your Rogue, you can right click it and add it to your Leather Mogs that your Leather users can wear/mog into.
Blizzard will never be letting players do what you are suggesting due to PVP, sorry to bust your bubble.

@@UltimateGamerCC Yea PVP isn't the reason for xmog. I mean it's xmog it doesn't really matter what the APPEARANCE of gear is as long as they're wearing their classes specific gear. But Blizzard does shit their own stupid way lol.
So if Evokers are going to start at lvl10, why create one now?
because it'll be 60(once u finish start zone) which would mean instead of being level 10 it would be 60 instead of 10. Basically saying if you ever want one, make it now so it's less leveling.

This is Warlords all over again. they gave us enhance spells for our spec and classes that automatically apply when we level up, then next expansion they will give us a new Artifact Weapon. it feels copy and paste instead of something new. we going underground again, this what the 4th time we done that? an the bug people were wipe out by their last Emperor who work for the lichking.
they promise us base building never delivered it, they promise some silly dance hall never got that either even though it on the back of my box for lichking. not even a guild castle or skyship to build.
1st th8ngs I'm doing is having a break. Stop playing and enjoy something else. The overly cluttered and amounts of pointless items in wow is giving me a headache. Also since gear is basically pointless after the basic il then no need to re grind the same stuff.

When it comes to this Dynamic flight and normal flight, why do you keep calling normal flight TBC flight? I know TBC stands for the burning Crusade but seriously that's been the same flying all the way even into dragonflight. So why don't you just call it NORMAL flying
Because it is TBC flight....... by definition, that is what it is.....
It will be dynamic flying vs static flying.

Imagine hating a game so much that you stalk its content creators to spread your hate like people care. Believe it or not, people enjoy WoW. It's still one of the biggest MMORPGs. I play ESO, FFXIV and Guild Wars and WoW is 100% more active than any of those games.

This is the last straw and i am not putting up with no more nonsense,first they take away my right make a male character and i am relegated to a ''type'',then dragon riding...those 2 things made me quit 6 months into the DF expansion.
Would like to know if normal flying will be available from the start or i just won't bother buying this expansion.
WELL if you read the information right then you would know with them bringing dynamic flying to all flying mounts they're also implementing where you can choose between dragonriding flying and regular flying, so if you hate dragonriding then with a click of a button you can switch to regular ole flying.
