Please update your video and don’t use a graphic designer as your example to “have them do an assignment”. Asking a graphic designer to “create” and do an assignment prior to hiring demonstrates you know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about graphic design. You’re wasting both of your time. You’re also asking them to do free work which is unethical. They should already provide you their portfolio. If you want to “test” them out, you should PAY THEM and actually spend some time thinking about what you want versus some throw away graphic you won’t even use. Spend some time thinking about what you want - you put in some effort! I design. It’s not “quick”. That’s why I have a portfolio to show you my work. I use this website to find my designers. The amount of designers I’ve interviewed that tell me how much free designs they do without pay and then not get hired is appalling.
Why would you label highly skilled people, working full time, as "Assistants". Its just a way for you guys to pay meager wages. $500/month for a Programmer? Dude you're hiring highly educated people on slave wages. Why don't you hire in your own country and help the economy instead of diluting the local wages because of the mentality that "hey, I can hire one x times cheaper from this or that 3rd world country"

They could remotely access your local PC and work that way. It's less efficient, but it keeps their work on your hardware.
