Well, this list is not even close to reality - especially when you look 1- 2 years ahead, when the new solid state batteries will be standard. As for now, the qilin battery in e. g. ZEEKR 001 gives you around 450 - 500 mil real range, for around 60 k $. And there are more cars using the qilin batteries available in 2023 already - some closer to 600 mil range..
Zeekr now gives you a range of 640 miles. But unfortunately like highspeed bullet train technology which is also fully electric, Zeekr is not available in the United States of America or i would have one sitting in my driveway right now....
@@carlsmith5545 you are right, but the 600 miles are Chinese miles - not real miles. But Zeekr are a serious competitor to Tesla
@@kimfabritiusdetengnagel2038 If Zeekr is not real miles then let's say 640 miles of range is really 550 miles of range, still supersedes any EV in America. I would still take it. It even would supersede the Lucid at 500 miles of range at 100K instead of the 41K i paid for 570 miles of range. Like i said, improve the EV and im all in...

I think you shouldn't put anything in the long range electric category if it doesn't get more than 350 miles but 375+ would be ideal. Only 300 miles shouldn't be considered long range.
Regardless of what was said, it would be prudent for consumers to only consider buying an EV when the standard range for all Evs reach 600miles or 1000ms even with the smaller batteries at more competitive price range is my personal view with the latest view announced by GM president....

These cars are seriously overpriced. Not for the average joe. Nice looking cars, but at 100k just unaffordable.

The Tesla roadster provides you with a range of 620 miles for 200K. The large full size luxurious Zeeker EV has been improved and now provides you with a range of 640 miles starting at 55K and HIO has a range of 650 miles but, unfortunately like highspeed bullet train technology which is also, (fully electric) these high range, full size luxury automobiles which tesla dosent even make, are not available in the United States of America. If so i would have a Zeekr sitting in my driveway right now. Till tesla improves the EV, I'll keep my 2021 XJL at 570 miles of range and paid off at 41K. Otherwise, I'll waite....
LOl Tesla Roadster, seriously, oh yes and the Cybertruck has 300 miles range when sold in 2023. but to put the roadster at the top position is a serious miss. The roadster is not even discussed when talking to tesla they have no plans to manufacture any new roadsters at all, tesla has not mentioned the roadster for three years now after advertising it would have jet thrusters to push acceleration to 1 second 0-60.
Sorry but you missed the mark, posted a video that could have been interesting but only showed the top car that is in fact vapourware. And where are all the cars that can be ordered today December 29th the Kia or Hyundai or many others, seriously educate yourself a bit more as there are some really fantastic cars not only available after release in 2023 but going to be available in 2024.

This video left out many major players in the EV market. Chinese EVs such as BYD, Nio, Li Auto, Xpeng etc and Tesla dominate the EV market. European brands and Japanese brands are second tier EV makers.
i don.t want an electric car, no matter how affordable electric car,s get i,ll still drive a petrol car, cos i just prefer the combustion engine

Let's hope that their "long range" ( what an absolute joke) is enough for them all to drive over a cliff and into the sea. EV's without doubt will go down as the "worst" mode of transport ever invented. let's face it, even a good old "cart horse" can out distance this rubbish.
