Great video. I just went to look at a Kawasaki that was for sale and dirty. The guy was boastful about the filters, plugs, etc all being original. You are definitely right. Dirty machine? Just walk away!
If the price was right definitely should have got it easy maintenance as long as the miles were low and no engine knock 😮 some people just dnt like to clean things like that…
I just purchased one used for $2500 and put $3000 in it(upgrades and maintenance parts)within a week without riding , because of a bad wheel bearing (and got 2 of those with the unit)…I’m definitely happy …😎 2018 teryx 4 le 4700 miles…$15 to $18 thousand dollar unit can’t beat that 🎉
I'm not big on buying much of anything used, I mostly buy new with very few exceptions. Yes, I pay more, but I also tend to have a lot less headaches compared to many of my friends that buy used stuff.
Thanks... Fam and I are going to look at one today with 88 hrs on it for 12,5 !! I love the name Charcoal for your horse CLASSIC looks much nicer than my red headed Arabian that I call my red headed step child TY again
When I sold my teryx there was something wrong with the cooling and I took the water pump apart and put it back together and it worked just fine and lemme tell you I had that bitch cleaner than when we bought it used
I may have got a lemon but I was never allowed to drive it and at 3 miles the belt burned up. I could give you a book of crap I have dealt with but I will spare you at 6,000 miles the engine quit, frozen solid. The dealer has serviced the bike from day one and has never warranty has paid one cent, I would never recommend on of these nor will I ever buy another Kawasaki
Dude, you just just kept it rolling and hit a ton of good points! Well done!!!
Thank you for this. We rented a Teryx in WV and now want one. They are quite capable.
Capable and a lot of fun!
@@rightcoastoffroad Would you recommend buying used from a seller or finding a used option at a dealer?
A good clean used one from a private seller will save you some coin.

TY again
Thanks we are newbies and this is helpfful!
I have a 2017 Teryx 800 and has 4000km or 2400miles. not a problem and just works great.
I have a 2017 with 599hrs and 10,000 miles nothing but belt and filter changes. They are great machines.
Good video. Another good tip would be ask if any kids have rode it. They are tougher on one than anything or anyone.
How many miles would one expect to get out of a 2017 teryx4 ? I'm looking at one with 6,500 miles for $9K ... should I avoid it because of milage?
I just bought a Teryx 800 from a guy and it runs good and I paid high dollar on it
What a pain changing the battery and removing the center console for engine maintenance.
Another good video!
Thanks man!
What do you mean adjusting the shocks, could you elaborate? I have a 2014 Teryx4.
🏆🏆🏆👍🙏
Thank you for sharing

Awesome video thanks

That's the key to selling something used, make it look new!
@@rightcoastoffroad it looked new I sold it to my buddy and he wants me to come clean it again but its like with my krx I get my krx so clean

My belt constantly breaks
whining noise on deceleration. bevel gear issue. common problem
Replacing the belt out in the field would be a pain in the ass! Shitty engineering. But overall we love our Kawi. Storage boxes Rock
