I have both the GO 3 and the DJI A2 and waiting on my 3S, I will take the GO3 over the DJI A2 hands down for a few reasons. Size, weight and the display pod, the 2.7K on the GO3 is quite impressive and the DJI A2 overheats even worse then a GoPro and that's saying a lot. I love the design of the A2 but this camera is serious temp use restrictions which btw, DJI doesn't tell anyone, you have to dig in their spec sheet to find out. I use mine outdoors via multi seasons here where we go from hot to cold within a day and the DJI A2 does not turn on even if it's just above 0C. It's so finicky with temps it's just not usable for me. Great review! p.s. in Canada here, the Action 2 is only about $200 cheaper then the GO 3s.

You already have an action camera. Pocket 3 will give you different and I believe - better kind of user experience

They are very different indeed. But you can use Action 2 with most of the advertised scenarios.
Another drawback; wind noise is bad, was even a light to medium breeze, despite adding their mic wind muff and using the wind noise settings.

I have never experienced that massive overheating issues, maybe because I mostly film in 4k 24fps
