77 years old here from SEi. Just found your site, what a fantastic video. I have boat fished the East Fork White river for 20years, but never winter fished it. Your camera work and music is one of the best I’ve ever seen, including all the national high dollar video guys. Your instructions are easy to follow. Thanks for taking the time to put these together. Can’t wait to check out your other trips.
I really appreciate your kind words. I understand the value of time and I want anyone that watches my video to feel like it was not time wasted whether they learn something or are just entertained. Thank you again. I’m South Central in Owen County. Good ole limestone country
Hey thanks Trey! One of the best trips I had all last season! I wish I brought the waders because I really felt there were more just around the corner.
You are absolutely right about the weather. A great explanation. Some really nice fish too. Thanks for the video and Happy New Year to you and your family.
I appreciate that, glad you found it useful! I’m trying to add real value to my videos instead of just fishing. You give me a view and I will do my best to share what I’m thinking.
Aye thanks buddy. Message me on Facebook I’ve had a different number for a couple years now. I got plans to head to Tennessee first week of may. I want catch some fish. I’ve already made plans with Trey but only a day or two. I plan to be there for 7 days.
I’m from south eastern Indiana and did a little river fishing on Sunday but had no luck. I don’t usually have much luck in the winter but it was a nice day and had seen a recent video of yours and got inspired to try lol. Can’t wait for spring!
It can be tough in the winter but I’m right there with you! Looking forward to some spring fishing too. Most days the winter will have you thinking there’s nothing there and then other days you wonder where they’re all coming from 😂
I appreciate your support! I hope it helps you out. What I talk about is what I try to do everywhere I fish. If anything I hope it adds a few pieces to your personal fishing puzzle.
Hey Greg, New Subscriber to your channel and I have really enjoyed the episodes I have watched so far. I used to work in Southern Indiana and fished the Falls of the Ohio quite often Hope you and your family have a blessed and Happy New Year Sir.
Dude your last Smallie was definitely a 'Slob'! Question - are you running an external mike or voice enhancer, or just talking straight to your GoPro? I've gotta work on getting better sound quality, your voice volume/clarity is on point.
Just the GoPro mic. I make sure to speak loud and clear. Sometimes I will extract the audio during editing to turn it up a bit. Thanks for the comment!
Hey Greg, I just recently started following you. I'm also from Indiana. I spend most of my summer down in Hoosier National and fishing Monroe. Also hit Cataract a few times a year. That looks like Salt or Sugar creek. I just didn't know what part of the state you are in. I'm setting up a kayak for the spring. I do alot of Flathead fishing and plan on going after some wipers this year also now that I can get out to them down where I always see them tearing up the surface. I'd love to catch up w u sometime and do a trip brother.
Awesome man, I'm always down for a trip with a fellow Hoosier. What area are you in? I’m based in Owen county just north of Monroe. I fish about a 50 mile radius around me. With the areas you fish you drive past this creek and two other great ones.
@PuddleWalkersOutdoors I'm close to Noblesville. So I grew up catfishing and smallmouth fishing the white river from up here down through the broad ripple area and crappie fishing Eagle creek
2 feet at the shallowest. I try to target the deepest parts followed by shallow runs. It could be a foot of water that leads into a deep pool or a shallow run that has 2 feet deep pockets along it. Having a bass as a pet has taught me they don’t really move around much at all throughout the day and seem to just want to be in one spot most of the time. Mine won’t even move towards food if it’s dropped in on the opposite side of the tank. It’s like they have a one track mind and if food shows up somewhere they will sit and wait in one spot for food to come to them.
I appreciate your concerns but what you don’t see is me putting the fish in the water between shots. I take great care of the fish I catch. I’ve fished this creek for a long time and have yet to see a floater.

Went fishing during that low pressure system yesterday and caught my PB crappie, always worth a trip when you see it dropping
It sure is! We can’t control the weather but we can give it our best shot each time.

Nice work. What is the depth you like to key in on?
2 feet at the shallowest. I try to target the deepest parts followed by shallow runs. It could be a foot of water that leads into a deep pool or a shallow run that has 2 feet deep pockets along it. Impressive work, Greg!!!
Are you fishing your normal spots or are you getting closer to the deep river?
Please get the fish back in the water faster unless you're keeping it.
I appreciate your concerns but what you don’t see is me putting the fish in the water between shots. I take great care of the fish I catch. I’ve fished this creek for a long time and have yet to see a floater.
