This is a great idea. I’ve seen a tutorial on UA-cam for brick building Imperial lights out of plates. That could be used to switch out some of the wall for lights instead.
The fact that this is a battle that has been ongoing since the clone wars makes me want to see a build challenge where you make a clone wars battle, and then once that part is done, make the base overgrown with rebels having taken over
This is perfect, could even have a rebel clearing away some of the vines and finding a clone helmet knida like Vader in the last episode of clone wars.
Hidden clone war reference idea: A clone with a sniper laying prone on the ground with vitals unknown but he’s been buried by years of mud and is hardly visible but barely noticeable with just his sniper poking out of his mud Gilly suit
I think a tow cable/crane could work well for the juggernaut. It’s such a powerful vehicle I think it would make a great recovery vehicle. Maybe there could be a sniper nest type area on top of the juggernaut. It’s so high up that it would allow soldiers to shoot down into Mimbanese trenches while being safe themselves. I think it would look cool if it was made out of sandbags and clearly put together on the fly to show how they are modifying there vehicles.
@@coconutbricksstudios yes that would be awesome!!! I love your builds. I’ve recently gotten back into Lego stop motions and moc building and you have been a great inspiration.
For the blank walls in the base some of those classic imperial star wars lights would be cool to break it up a bit. Just an idea, great vid! (also some battle damage in the base would be cool too)
The tile looks SO much better💯 Love that you kept the dark bluish grey for the turbo tank. Maybe add some white outlined walking paths to designate where people should walk in the hangar. Looking so good!
Fantastic progress! Love the Imperial Troopers and the Juggernauth! Personally I would've used red light parts for the Juggernauth windows instead of the plain red.
Love the technique you went with for the landing pad pillars! If you want better stability, use some 4x4 round bricks with technic axle holes. Put them 4-5 bricks up your puller so that you have a decent amount of space for the macaroni bricks to fit around the 2x2 round bricks. Then you can use a long technic axle to secure the whole inverted pillar to the 2x2 bricks. This will provide an internal support structure that’s also easy to remove. You could even use the half technic pins with studs on top in the 4x4 round brick to cover up the holes and add lights so some crazy vehicle driver doesn’t run into your pillars. Really loving this series and can wait to see it done!
Love the imperial juggernaut’s overall design it’s awesome! Also for the Minban animals I think you should add the Mimbanites. Cuz they are the traditional inhabitants. But anyway love the terrain and the panels on the base. The storyline is also really well thought of so keep up the good work! 👍
I do a lot of warhammer and like history a lot, and something done time and time agin historically and it usually looks great is makeshift add on armor, weather that be tank tracks lining the turret or sandbags around the hole the commander sticks their head out of, add on armor really gives character and can look great
I recommend making your burnt forest a lot bigger and taller. If you made trees that looked more like from Solid Bricks Studios Daro moc, it would look really cool!
I continuously reloaded this page for the past 10 minutes until this video popped up😂 I was so excited for today's video! Thanks for the awesome update!!!!
The terrain looks so much better with more tiles! I reckon if you could somehow make the window of the turbo tank with translucent red parts I think it would look better and be a little more accurate to the source material.
hi coconut, wouldn't it be nice if you build the landing platform at an angle, like you were originally going to do with the base. the rest looks AMAZING so keep up the great work
One thing that I would recommend adding, specifically for the lower walls, is elevator doors. Right now, you've got the entire second floor with them, but none on the bottom. Some workbenches along the walls, along with Imperial lights as others have already mentioned, would definitely help spruce up the area. Perhaps also a small lift-vehicle near where the pukestain on the wall is, for a bit more help with the environmental storytelling?
I think as mimban shoes intesne fighting you need to add loads of weapons like machine gun turrerts up top grensde launchers like on at st and maybe some open doors kn the sides with troops shooting out. Make the juggernaut armed to the teeth and something that eould turn the tide of the battle
You could add something like a bulletin board to one of the walls with stuff like wanted posters. Maybe some wired panels and have one be broken getting repaired Looks great so far Edit: If possible making the landing pad at an angle might look good seeing as you couldn't add the base at an angle
Maybe you could add a small command center for officer staff at the back side of the repair bay? Higher than the catwalk so they can look down over the work floor. I think some light blue glass and some support struts might add some visual interest.
there should definitely be some of those computers and screens we see all over other imperial bases like the death star, they would add a lot of detail
With the base walls I think it would make sense to have some of those vertical lights we see in the hallways of most Imperial installations. I’m not sure how you would build them though
Great update always love watching good progress! Question: how do you decide the mix of tiles and studded plates in areas like the garage and floors of your buildings? Do you think of where you will place minifigs or do you just randomly place studs and put minifigs where there are studs?
Looks amazing! And I think you should Add one of the delta squad member, if you add sev add him on the rebel side, we’ve seen scorch so that wouldn’t be a stretch, expect he might already be dead, as I don’t know when this moc takes place.. And boss also would make some sense.
You should add a little office space for a headquarters unit to do things like supply and human resources. In Army reserve armories all the admin elements of a unit are in a large office filled with cubicles while the active army has them in different offices, but all next to each other. An office for the commanding officer filled with awards and a large desk also would give it a sense of realism. In both the active and reserve components the office space for line units tends to be within 100 yards of their workshops, or even in the same building. Also, every military installation in the US has a secure arms rooms where weapons, radios, and other very pricey items are kept and a separate equipment storage area called "cages" to store other equipment that still needs to be secured but not at the same level as the sensitive items. They sometimes are in separate buildings from the admin and maintenance areas, but they are always really close to the other working areas of a unit.
4:12 that support pillar doesn’t look right. Maybe it’s two high or maybe it’s aligned one stud off but somehow that should be fixed to avoid stressing your pieces
Feel like you should add some of the plates and tiles you have on the ground on the juggernaut so it makes it looks like its all dirty from driving the terrain
Griebling griebling, inside the hangar walls griebling! And maybe you could try to make the juggernaut look more dirty, since Mimban sure is one hell of a muddy place
I think the turbo tank should be more dark gray with light gray highlights and see if u could find a way to get glops of mud on it that gut flung up from explosions and stuff
i would try to do dark red instead of red for the windshields. i think the bright red makes it look a little too toy-ish for the gritty tone mimban invokes
Hey coconut, I was in the british army for a bit, and the few military bases I visited, the floor is usually just plain concrete, maybe some white lines/markers for drill, etc. Not very interesting or useful, just thought you'd want to know. 😅
@coconutbricksstudios also, I saw the recent vid with lights, in an actual base the hanger will be fully lit up in bright white. would be dangerous if it wasn't.
You should add the Imperial hallway lights into the walls. That would make the base look more imperial while also giving it some much needed details
We need to bump this up
Maybe you should set up some gun racks to cover up the walls. Otherwise it looks great!
@ exactly
This is a great idea. I’ve seen a tutorial on UA-cam for brick building Imperial lights out of plates. That could be used to switch out some of the wall for lights instead.
Dude I was just thinking that
Definitely some muddy footprints inside the bass could make a little bit more detail inside the base plus I mean make sense on a muddy planet
veeery nice. When i was a conscript our barracks had special boot shower areas near the enterance
Some sort of tie fighter docking apparatus (either as part of the docking pad or the base) would be cool
This would look good. I think even just having a elevated platform with a ladder for accessing the Tie would look nice.
I'm hoping to build a second pad for ties.
You should add a translucent red to the windshield to create the same effect as the ones shown in the reference photos!
yes i agree

I'm surprised at the difference on the turbotank. how easy it was to make it look so drastically different.
Same, I was pleasantly surprised
I think a tow cable/crane could work well for the juggernaut. It’s such a powerful vehicle I think it would make a great recovery vehicle.

I winch would be cool!
@@coconutbricksstudios yes that would be awesome!!! I love your builds. I’ve recently gotten back into Lego stop motions and moc building and you have been a great inspiration.
I would add some brown tiles onto the wheels and sides of the juggernaut to make it look like it’s been driving through a ton of mud.
This moc is gonna look so good when it''s completed. Keep up the good work !
Much appreciated!
For the blank walls in the base some of those classic imperial star wars lights would be cool to break it up a bit. Just an idea, great vid! (also some battle damage in the base would be cool too)
Those would be cool!
Add a command center or a rec room for the soldiers on the wall. Could be fun.
The tile looks SO much better💯 Love that you kept the dark bluish grey for the turbo tank. Maybe add some white outlined walking paths to designate where people should walk in the hangar. Looking so good!
Definitely wanna add some paths, I'm still trying to decide how to go about that

Smooth video, love how seemingly seamless the Juggernaut was. Came together nicely. Also, the terrain looks great too!
Thanks bro! Been trying to improve not just my mocs but videos as well especially the moc updates.
The tiles and slopes look REALLY good for the muddy terrain
On the side of the moc you could have the Mimban rebellions tunnelling a bit like the fossil
Really love the more tiled off look to the terrain
Agreed!
The moc looks amazing so far, keep it up! 👍

I do have some mimbanese rebels, I showcased them in episode 2
I do a lot of warhammer and like history a lot, and something done time and time agin historically and it usually looks great is makeshift add on armor, weather that be tank tracks lining the turret or sandbags around the hole the commander sticks their head out of, add on armor really gives character and can look great

Thanks for the suggestion
Add a massive rocket booster to the back as if they are nitros to the turbo tank. And add some exhaust pipes on the sides like a monster truck. 👌
I continuously reloaded this page for the past 10 minutes until this video popped up😂 I was so excited for today's video! Thanks for the awesome update!!!!
Haha that's awesome!
Awesome update!! I really like the turbo tank with the red windscreen!
It looks very menacing now!
The terrain looks so much better with more tiles! I reckon if you could somehow make the window of the turbo tank with translucent red parts I think it would look better and be a little more accurate to the source material.
I will try out trans red just need to find the right parts.
It's starting to look incredible
Fantastic 😊. Truly your MOC is art! And you make it look easy 😮. I am still collecting parts and realizing that I don’t have enough 😮
Haha same, the collecting never ends
hi coconut, wouldn't it be nice if you build the landing platform at an angle, like you were originally going to do with the base. the rest looks AMAZING so keep up the great work
that would be fire
so true
In order to maximize the space in the base side I have to build the landing pad parallel to the base.
LOOKING GOOD!!!!!!!
1:04 like the small detail of the clone gunner helmet that has sank within the mud
Can’t wait to see the final results
Same!
It continued to amaze me how giant the turbo tank is and moc in general
Love to hear it
I think the tile part of the terrain actually looks pretty good!
Flexing those detailing muscles 💪🏻
Trying to haha

Can’t wait to see the landing pad
Hopefully a good chunk of it will be in by the end of the year.
You could add terminals to the walls. They could either be for refueling data, or could tell the imps when a vehicle is approaching for repairs.
Super excited for this one!
Hype
you are the best at making mocs
Thank you!
Always love to see MOC updates ! That imp turbo tank looks great !Hope you will get 100k subs soon !
Thanks man! Hopefully soon, just need some videos to take off haha

As it’s a maintenance base add some pipes and stuff to the interior wall maybe?
Anyway great video keep up the good work ❤
Definitely gonna add some pipes and vents!
Maybe you could add a small command center for officer staff at the back side of the repair bay? Higher than the catwalk so they can look down over the work floor. I think some light blue glass and some support struts might add some visual interest.
There will be a command center but it's gonna be on the scod floor of the base
there should definitely be some of those computers and screens we see all over other imperial bases like the death star, they would add a lot of detail
Great video i love watching all the updates. Keep up the good work
I don’t have know much about military base parking, but maybe put like numbers?
This guy got me into moc building haven’t posted anything yet because I’m nervous I’m going to get shredded by people
A coconut video and dessert, peak experience Right here.
We need a final count on how many brown pieces your destroyed :D
I think that you should replace some of the gray tiles inside the base with some brown ones, so it looks like the floor is dirty
We need a new turbo tank set, a midi scale one would be cool
Looking awesome! Could you look at some other imperial vehicles or materiel? Like the AT-DP or AV-9? Or even a TX-130?
I'm thinking about it, it just depends on how much space I have.
You should do a clone army video(this is just an excuse to see those beautiful marines again)
Haha the marines will be making an appearance next month!
You should have an armory at the back with lots of weapons racks and maybe even some mounted helmets
With the base walls I think it would make sense to have some of those vertical lights we see in the hallways of most Imperial installations. I’m not sure how you would build them though
Great update always love watching good progress!

Little late to see this one, but am I the only one that likes seeing studs in mocs or vehicles? It is lego after all.
good to return to lego after a while
In hangers, often times, we set staging areas / hurry up and wait lobbies.
Maconary bricks for doors looks better. I absouloutely love this moc so far keep going! ( remember that old republic abandon kyebr crystal mine)
You could do the star destroyer vertical lighting-simple but iconic and effective
Add more wall pillars and maybe a hole in the wall with exposed wiring to add detail to the elevator walls
The update looks good

Hey man,you should put the landing pad at an angle to make it look more realistic than parallel to the base, also leaving groom for the juggernaut
4:12 that support pillar doesn’t look right. Maybe it’s two high or maybe it’s aligned one stud off but somehow that should be fixed to avoid stressing your pieces
Coconut i would like it if you could build a imperal version of the republic fighter tank
It’s looking g so good I like the turbo tank mods too
Feel like you should add some of the plates and tiles you have on the ground on the juggernaut so it makes it looks like its all dirty from driving the terrain
Lovin' it--keep it up!
Thanks!
you should add a small mess hall and maybe a games room with arcade machines and an Armoury
Griebling griebling, inside the hangar walls griebling! And maybe you could try to make the juggernaut look more dirty, since Mimban sure is one hell of a muddy place
Add some fuel tanks incorporated into the turbo tank as a mobile fuel depot/command
Or it would be called a mobile support base
Then you can add a fuel line from it and have it refuel some fighter craft
Maybe add some lockers for the troopers and their stuff alos adding a command room, kitchen and dining hall would add more realism
You should put muddy footprints on the floor of the base! Its wound add some good color to make it seem less boring grey yk?
maybe add a control room in the hangar or add a screen to announce orders or something like
I think the turbo tank should be more dark gray with light gray highlights and see if u could find a way to get glops of mud on it that gut flung up from explosions and stuff
You should add some tie fighter landing pads in the moc and maybe an at st/dt garages
You should add some republic vehicles buried in the mud from old battles
What would be cool if the rebels had like an underground tunnel to flank the Imperials
Check out EP.1
1.6k views in 1 hour, that’s a W community
I think the ground floor should have food, a gym, and/or barracks for the troopers
Coconut you should make a small ravine for the moc and could you please show my ideas on a video please i would a like it 😊 😬
Maybe add a staircase up to the landing pad so Vader doesn’t have to use the lift like those bucket head ruffians
tile looks better in any outdoor moc not just muddy terrain
You should make a old clone trooper bace because you added a clone helmet
I love your videos I wish I could build Mocs like that I am building scarf
Thanks, hope it goes well!
i would try to do dark red instead of red for the windshields. i think the bright red makes it look a little too toy-ish for the gritty tone mimban invokes
Cool!
U should use translucent dark red for the windshield for the turbo tank would look way better imao.
I'm gonna try that but there is a certain piece I need that doesn't come in trans-red
you might wanne change some bricks form the fosile to some form of brown so it looks a bit more realistic
dude you should have the rebels attacking the turbo tank somewhere in no mans land or have a prisoner convoy using the juggernaut.
I have something similar planned
@@coconutbricksstudios good can't wait to see it
You should add mud to the bottom of the plates on the walls and the juggernaut cus the mud would get everywhere
If your looking to make the repair bay more interesting add an oil pit
That's what the big black thing in the floor is.
What shuttle did you use in this video?
Hey coconut, I was in the british army for a bit, and the few military bases I visited, the floor is usually just plain concrete, maybe some white lines/markers for drill, etc. Not very interesting or useful, just thought you'd want to know. 😅
Good to know thanks!
