Watching Clone Wars Season 4 Episode 1 Water War in slow motion revealed SO many hidden details that everyone missed watching this episode for the first time. So, here's a compilation of all the different things I've found! Let's begin.

Kit fisto is a species from a water world. He's a natural in the water. And lightsabers don't work to well in water. In the phantom menace, Obi-wan couldn't take out the droid chasing him when they met jar jar cause his lightsaber didn't work. He landed in water or was hiding in water. In this arc, their sabers were specifically modified to work in water, which means a lower energy output. Kinda like a training saber or stun round.

This was one of my favorite arcs on the entire show. There is just something really cool about underwater/sea battles in the Star Wars Universe

You know, there was a Mon Calamari short in the old 2d Clone Wars show that had Kit Fisto and these aqua troops. So it was awesome to see them do this again but on a bigger scale.
I don’t know why but I think this might have been my least favorite arc in the clone wars, each time the next episode came I was like “why are we still here” but hey it’s apparently other’s favorites so good for you
I just love how the aqua droids just spin their lil feet to move
One thing I thought of and I feel like its mentioned at some point in the series though I cant be sure. Is that jedi need to make a modification to there sabers to have them work under water. Perhaps that makes them somewhat weaker hence why it seems like there not slicing through anything.
I could also just be completely wrong or thinking of something from legends.
Ok why are droids under water if one dies like both the armies get electrocuted
In regards to the lightsabers bouncing off stuff there’s a theory that they have a sharp and dull edge and so that’s why sometimes we see them bounce off stuff. It would be harder to alight the edge underwater too.
Also to add. Kit Fisto is the best. No argument. Are you uploading Episode 3 of the Water War Arc?
I don't remember the name of the battle, I'm sure it didn't go on for long but the battle when Ventirss (how ever you spell her name) joined the Sisters, and Dooku and Grevious invaded the home and killed everyone. and they tried assassinating Dooku, that might be a cool little episode.
I really appreciate the love in this series your doing. Gotta keep it up for mando season 3

"why didnt it slice clean through" probably because its underwater and the lightsabers have been modified. there probably alot weaker now though
A cool battle to cover next is back in season 1 when Yoda and the 3 clones fight all the battle droids vs ventress
5:57 Rex is in phase 1 armour but there is a clone wearing phase 2 right next to him
I think they should've tried to develop new blaster and lightsaber effects to depict like the cavitation of the water around where the hot lasers boil it

My own personal three wide light sabers Don’t really work underwater it’s because it’s colder in the water so they’re not as hot

I need to check but I believe lightsabers aren't that effective under water its like lighting a match underwater, there kind of like underwater blow torches so not as effective cutting underwater as cutting on land.

Quick comment on Andor;
Andor was great, at first, I didn’t get why they made so many build up episodes, but when the big moment hit in the finale, I understood. If you watch carefully each episode, they all show you the characters and what they’re personally going through and it makes you connect with the characters. Also, there’s is an incredible amount of detail, from the intro music adding instruments to amplify the awakening of the rebellion and war with the rhythmic drums to every little look on a character’s face makes you understand the “ambiance in the room”. All this makes you just connect even deeper with the characters and brings a lot more impact to the finale.

This was one of my favorite arcs in clone wars. and scuba clones are definitely underrated and we should have seen more of them
i think the "fluff" of andor is what made it so good, it really let you get a feel for it as a world and get attached to characters as real people which is what made it so unique when compared to most other star wars content

Yeah it was brutal how Tampson killed his victims from biting the leg off from a clone trooper to literally disintegrating people in the final episode for the arc.
I think the lightsabers are having more difficulties cutting because they're so deep underwater. It's cold and wet, and the lightsaber isn't in contact with a lot long enough to cut as well.
I think using the idea of a "water jedi" through Kit Fisto was awesome, not to mention how charismatic he was. This and the mini-episode series makes it infuriating how easily he got killed off. Loved the CGI versions of him more, more expressive and detailed.
I liked this ark because of the underwater aspect, it was completely different than anything we’d seen. Also who else felt that Riff Tamsan’s death was satisfying.
I always loved this arc, especially when the gungans show up 😂. Andor is like a Book if you rush through the first half of the book and get to the good parts you will still have to go back to understand wtf is going on, I've had to go back and re-watch other series multiple times because they jumped right into it and speed run through the development of the plot, Andor is perfect because you know exactly what is going on and why it's happening when it finally happens
The reason I think Ani couldn't use the force is cus air is less dense than water and it would take a lot more effort and power
I remember this Separatist General, scaring the shit out of me, as a kid. This was such a great arch, and I’m glad we got to see a good mix of the war and the politics, in just a few episodes. It really reminds me of OG Clone Wars, from 2003.

Dude, with a constant threat in all three episodes on the front lines in the battle always has a plan up his sleeve, and even when he's losing, he went down fighting he did not back down at all

I think Fisto's species can breathe air and breathe underwater so naturally he's essential for underwater battles so he doesn't need air underwater to concentrate to use the force
Mon Calamari was probaly the most brutal arc, for a kid's show, it is really strange seeing that lot of bites and stabs
I really hope you consider finishing this arc, we haven't even gotten to the parts with the Gungan reinforcements, the Trident ship whirlpool, and by far one of the best villain deaths in the entire series.
That's funny, this is one of my favorite arcs in the Clone Wars. This is we see prince Lee-char goes through a similar leadership Arc that Simba went through, Ahsoka showing her development as she gives advice help him, to see Captain Ackbar in this Prime fighting through the clone wars ;Lastly I actually like the villain, multiple water fighters , and two weapons take advantage of the terrain.
I'd be interested in the S7 Siege of Mandalore in Slow Motion. So much stuff happening there
This was a rly cool arc with an absolute beast of a villain. One of the few seperatist commanders that joins the battle and is an savage while doing so.
I feel like that since lightsabers are constantly evaporating maybe it lessens the power of the light saber.
Not to mention, normal lightsabers would likely short-circuit at the handle if submerged for too long.
I think you should do the battle of Ferrix in 0,25 speed (The Episode 12 one)
I love this arc because it really helps the gungans shine the gungans are my favorite aliens species and jar jar just makes everyone shit on them but they’re actually dope fighters especially under water

So one thing I've always noticed in this episode that this is technically the first episode we see standard clone soldiers fielding using Phase II armour (besides that one hologram is S3).
Now back to watching the vid might edit this comment afterwards.
Pointing out that Kit-Fisto move with the Force-push cross ty,
would be perfect as a Character unique power in a Star wars Battlefront-Like game
Lightsabers do not have do be lethal. Training sabers usually cannot cut. Also, if you look at the sabers under water, if they were hot enough to cut with each little slash it would boil the water around them.
They look like they are on a lower power mode that will still cut if sufficient kinetic energy is added to the swing. Which is why they can deflect blasters well, still, but function more like bludgeoning weapons clubbing their way through this particular battle. Sure, you see some light superficial cuts, but for the most part only power strikes can cut which are hard to do underwater with no leverage.
I think the reason the light sabers don't work as well is because they are under water.
physical error:
If a lightsaber is so hot that you can cut almost anything with it, it should be the case that if it is in the water, all the water around the lightsaber evaporates. a whirlpool would be created, making it impossible to use.

17:29 I just realized that when the building begins to fall/sink, the Hydroid Medusas get sucked towards it.
I know I'm late but in the star war lore regular light Saber can not work under water so kitfitso (I know probably got his name wrong) found and ancient lightsaber blue prints which were designed to work underwater but he had of failed out put of the plasma of the blade until we get what we see now sadly to work under water they lose allot of the cutting power

There is a theory why sometimes lightsabers slice and sometimes not, because like a normal sword it has a sharp and not sharp side, but it’s so bright that you can’t see that
The time kit fisto rammed a droid was like me as a barc speeder in battlefront 2, although I died after ramming the droid
I’ve just noticed that captain Rex is still in his phase 1 where as the troopers beside him is in phase 2 armour
Fun fact: this is actually the first episode in clone wars to future the phase II armor

It's a great arc! Only thing that bothered me was that the lightsabers don't produce bubbles under water, as they do in the cartoon series. I mean, they should boil the water instantly, shouldn't they?
Whatever happened to your shooting of the battle of naboo from the novelization of The Phantom Menace you mentioned in earlier videos of this series? Did I just miss it on your page?
I've been sleeping on it. Might cost $1000+ to produce. I want to do it with a lot of battles but these will take longer and I need to find some artists to work with. Definitely going to try to start these this year 👌Something to look forward to...

13:56- Yeah, definitely the Clone Wars show version is way better!!! So much so that I just pretend that the random Jedi you just showed us and mentioned isn’t him in any way! Lol I think it’s actually like a cousin of his….. like a mentally challenged cousin that one of the other Jedi got charged with having to babysit him and therefore had to take him to the battle! Don’t worry, they gave him a fake lightsaber! Like his has the see through plastic blade and when he turns it on it lights up like all the real lightsabers (kinda like the battle lightsabers our world has! And trust me, if you get hit in any way ever lightly with one of those lightsabers that are meant for actual fighting and hitting things hard they hurt like hell!!! My daughter got me on my fingers once when she was either 5 or 6 years old and my ring and middle fingers were all black and blue from barely any force! But they are awesome! She was sad that she got me but I made sure to let her know I wasn’t mad at all and in no way was it her fault)! That’s why he never turns his off! Lol He feels part of the group….. yayy lol

15:18- Another thing that you need to take into count is when this is happening during the 3 years of the Clone Wars?!? Because I know he is the chosen one and he is also supposed to be “the greatest Jedi ever” but with how conflicted he was during the first two years of the Clone Wars and the last year he wasn’t as conflicted but that’s because he was now going the wrong direction, but also how he had a hard time dictating how much power he used in any given situation when his emotions took over he had a very difficult time doing anything with his powers in these kind of moments! And when he finally got better at control (like I said earlier about the final year of the Clone Wars) he did a lot of…….. um, non Jedi things lol But like I also said, I have no idea when this is in that 3 years!?! Mainly because for some God odd reason the Clone Wars series is out of order!!! Drastically! They definitely need to fix that!!!
Late to the party, but I'm pretty sure Kit Fisto is more focused on the Force than Anakin, so even if Anakin is more powerful, Kit would have a much more practiced connection to the Force.
