These have recently come back on the market. Amazing value for money and performance. When compared to a couple of Motorola T6222 radios the difference is the audio quality. These have really clean audio with a little background hiss whilst the Motorolas have obvious speech processing and remove a lot of the back ground noise.
Cracking radio's we use a pipe antannae on ours greatly improves the range.we disconnected the torch and put small holes in the top of belt clip to fit a carrying strap on them it's all good great review of a real bargain radio.

I have about fang uv5r and I really like it and I was thinking about ordering more but I have to Binatone mr200 and as you said they're really really good especially if you're like caving or part holding that kind of thing I think they can save your life if

for under £16 quid its worth trying and see what results you get I'm certainly pleased with them for the price
How do yoh out them on high power?

did you try and charge it with the cable and what batteries you reccamend?
Riz's Channel the baofeng radio (black one ) has to be programmed using a cable. I was just using standard aa batteries in the floureon radio
