Fun Fact : Miyazaki is actually an avid WarHammer 40k reader. There are many refrences throughout Armored Core, Dark Souls, etc. In Elden Ring, the lion is named " Serosh " because in WH40k one of the major commanders named " LION " breaks his legion on a planet named " Serosh ". ONE OF US! ONE OF US! But, to enforce GJX's point, def try Elden Ring, it is a great entry in soulslike. But, if you are like me and GJX and love giant robots, do not miss AC6, it is top tier.
Elden Ring was and still is one the most fun and addictive games I’ve ever played. I never really appreciated souls games until I first played Elden Ring and it just dug its claws into me. I couldn’t be more excited for the DLC.
I am glad I took a chance on Elden Ring, I honestly am. It's a game that I didn't even know I needed or wanted in the sense of the only souls game I played was Bloodborne and I didn't beat it because I just never did. But Elden Ring is this enigma that just has not only taken over my life but has saved me in some cases (nothing crazy) just helps pick me up and stuff! But man! Oh man! I'm glad I took a chance on this game! Second or third game in my life that I've done this with. Just picked up the game for the hell of it and man oh man! 🙌🏼 What a journey it has been! ❤ the struggles in this game when I had them were indeed real *cough cough* MALENIA! But! Worth it when you overcome those struggles and challenges! 🙌🏼

Anyone who goes into the DLC, good luck to you and most importantly have fun, remember at the end of the day that it's a video game and you can take it at your own pace. Take your time with this game and there are plenty of guides out there if you're ever lost or need help, don't be afraid to ask for help, play how you want to play, don't let anyone gatekeep you away from these games because everyone should at least give these games a chance.

Also there's a reason why I play these games still, I know what it's like to struggle, I have struggled growing up, and even now, but what I'm trying to say is, we all struggle in our own way, and these games can make us relate to our struggles and show that if we persevere and continue on we can do anything we put our hearts and minds to. Also as you explore the map, there's so much to discover and that translates to real life as well, and we can learn new things about what you're curious about or discover about yourself when you play these games, these games are a unique experience that no other game has given me, if you're willing to give these games a try, then do it. If you're unsure about these types of games, maybe it isn't your time to play these games, but there will be eventually. You'll figure out that you need it when you need it.
