Could you teach us to paint icons with acrylic paint or oil? Egg tempura and powder pigment is very expensive here. Thank you. I love your videos.

can you please try to paint the icon of theotokos of the valaam monastery? it is a very special icon and is a wonderworking icon and it has more of a modern style and i would be interested to see you paint it. God bless you.

This is beautiful! What painting style would you suggest for a beginner iconographer? ☦

My teacher had me study Byzantine icons from the 12th to 16th century, classical Greek art, and Fayoum portraits. As an iconographer, I always suggest starting by drawing. Antonis' course is very good.

This is Panselinos not Astrapas. Astrapas and Panselinos are differnet persons. See Astrapas paintings in Orchida. There is nothing in common with Protato's masterpieces. For more information see the study of Sergiadis where he proves this distinction. Beyond this your job and the tutorial are great.

Thank you so much for this comment... Astrapas is a family name. According to recent studies Panselinos is the nick name of Ioannis Astrapas.

Why not ? Don't be such a loser mate, btw your "lucifer sigil" was ignorantly invented by a moron trying to make money by selling 'grimoires' to other morons in the 18th century, good luck and may The Lord and King of the universe have mercy on you
