Super excited, I absolutely love your style of painting and teaching. You're so calm and relaxed and just a sweetheart. I still need to do 2 of the floral paintings and try the rose again. I've done it twice and still don't like it. I have a very hard time letting go and not stressing while painting.

The cycle of "fixing the painting" is definitely something I struggle with, specially when I try to paint something really big as the scale can be very daunting and that can make me distrust the process I go for in smaller paintings. My acrylics dry way too fast and always end up looking like a wash, giant blobs of one color that wont mix another. Is my paint not wet enough?
To be honest, I use the cheap paints from the arts and crafts store; is this a symptom of using low quality materials?

my cycle is "paintings will fade, why paint?" i really want out of that cycle. i wish i had the problem of painting details too soon.
