A walk around the abandoned outdoor swimming pool at Tarlair and quick visit to Banff!

Today, Monty and I went for an adventure and walk around Tarlair Outdoor Swimming Pool near Macduff in Aberdeenshire.
The swimming pool was operational from 1931 through to 1995 and is now undergoing major refurbishment to hopefully restore it to it's former glory.
We had a great time and will definitely return to check on progress in the future!

I've just seen Tarlair swimming pool on abandoned engineering, and I searched the Internet to see if it was being restored, and found your excellent video. Monty is a star looked liked he had great fun investigating the area. Thanks for taking the trouble to film the pool.

Thank you so much! It’s a really interesting place and I’m glad that the pavilion is getting restored, hopefully the pool will open in future years. Monty is a great dog and I think he liked his trip to Tarlair 😃

If you'd kept walking over the corner of the golf course there's a lovely secluded little beach. Can't remember the name :(
