My guess is that it's more likely a synthetic yellow sapphire...synthetic stones are much less costly than earth-mined gems, for lass rings, they don't use very expensive stone. Well, at least it's a corundum so it is a very hard stone with respectable toughness, good for years of wearing.
You could have spent a few more moments showing off the ring you made and engraved from the gold in this ring. Or, you should have flashed a reference to your other channel. This video was very instructive and very interesting but the other video really shows off your skill and expertise in a different way.
