- If you think you’re the finished article, you’re in the wrong space - there is always an opportunity to be better and learn more.
Today’s episode is the conclusion of a special one for me, not just because I talk to Olympian, Guinness World Record Holder and World Class athlete and coach, James Rodwell but because he’s also my younger brother. We strip back what it takes to achieve success at this level…along with some insights from our childhood!
Having the self awareness, vulnerability, willingness and openness to lean in to what you need to perform at your best has been a game changer for James - not just on the pitch but more importantly what to focus on when no-one is watching. There are so many similarities between success in sport and business and you’ll learn so much about how you can achieve the results you want.
This isn’t about how you can become an Olympic Medallist but instead our conversation goes deep into the power of self awareness, high performance habits and challenging yourself for personal success.
In this episode, you’ll learn:
•
The power of detail and perspective within your pathways to success
•
How to create the right support network for yourself
•
Why curveballs and adversity can actually make you better and stronger - and how you can find excitement during these periods of change
•
The importance of constantly challenging yourself and asking to be challenged
•
How to create habits and personal boundaries in all areas of your life to achieve success
•
The importance of switching off and switching on..and when you need to do both
•
Why confident choices come from planning
