I follow on Spotify but I came to the comments to tell Matt to not have Patricia walk down the aisle during the rehearsal. It is considered bad luck. I didn’t know about this until my rehearsal and had to have someone stand in for me to ensure everyone else knew their place. Two things I did at my wedding was a custom cornhole board and beer pong cups. I also had cocktails named after each of my dogs. Happy wedding planning!!

Because there is this beautiful Greek Orthodox Church right near where I used to live (not going to mention the area just in case). Every night following the reception (first blessing) there’s a big meal with friends and family with the couple. Not anywhere as extravagant as the reception but it’s still nice to kind of keep the party going :) and then after that the couple might go on a honeymoon, or go a few weeks or months later

as someone who works in the wedding industry as a server BUFFETS ARE THE MOVE for the wedding TRUST ME i thought it was a ghetto idea before i worked in the field and no it makes dinner service so fast you don’t have people who have dietary restrictions waiting for their food you also don’t have food wasted bc trusttt meee after hors d’oeuvres MOST people barely eat half their plate and if ur paying per plate that’s SO MUCH food wasted. buffet is perfect bc everyone can serve what they can eat. and yeah i’ve seen some pretty tragic weddings😭😭 but also preapprove speeches bc A LOt of people can make theirs cringey asf or wayyy to long sayinngg things that aren’t relevant at all
AND ALSO do a dessert and coffee table instead of it being served at the table because BARELY ANYONE eats the cake if everyone is served the cake and most people love the little types of desserts they can pick from plssss don’t spend so much money on a wedding cake. get a foe cake and have the top tier be real for just u guys to eat and if u want cake at the dessert station just buy a sheet cake of whatever u like
