Hi Charlie, Thanks for getting back to me. Yes, I figured that one out yesterday.Wished that they have figured out a way to synchronise the knob and the number on the hopper. But now that I know that, I can work around it. PS: I am glad that I have bought the machine from you guys. The after sales support is very good. Especially for a novice like me who is still learning about coffee, Jetblack espresso is willing to teach me to use the machine.I highly recommend to anyone to buy from them =)
Nice coffee :) I have the same machine, but I have some trouble getting good results with the coffee. How fine do you grind your coffee in the video? The machine grinder goes from 1 to 7. I'm using 2.5, which give me about 12 bars, but I don't manage to get as much foam as you. Thanks!
Hi, I have just purchased the Lelit PL042EM Today and Im having trouble with the Built-in grinder. This is my first Coffee machine btw... The Grinder has a detectable coffee bean container, and I first got it I accidentally detached it, now I do not know which setting it is on. Does anyone know how to reset the degree of the grind? My best guess is to turn the knob until it hits the most coarse and align it with the number 7 and go from there but is this the only way? Thanks guys.
Hi Charlie, Thank you for your reply. I have turned the knob to the maximum coarse and align the hopper to number seven and then turn the knob to number five. I have found it to be too runny.Im going to blame that on my tamping skills.Tomorrow Im going to try the number 4. When you said that the number is arbitrary, does that mean that every time I disconnected the hopper I have to do trial and error again to get the right grind? sorry about the novice question.
Nice one. I bought my Lelit from Charlie at Jetblack about a year ago and buy my coffee from there too. It's great fun learning how to pull shots and experimenting with the process until you get it right. I will need to work on the latte art next, looks great in this vid.
