Yes please message jeff, this is ridiculous, he needs to learn communicate with the community . Every 8 months we keep getting Tampa remaster and these pointless clothes update , when everyone been asking for stats menu , modded maps or just more maps in general . The last new map was back in September 2023💀
Fuck if they could just give us a gravity slider and manual catch I would be happy with that
The only thing that would actually justify this long ass silence is just a full revamp of the game. Like board sizes, more customization with new meshes, stats, stance customization, everything. I'm gonna loose my mind if we get another mediocre skate park map, even though I'm on Pc

Didn't they make some type of post that said 2023 was gonna be a good year and then nothing? Honestly I have not a lot of hope for the future of this one. I hope I'm wrong. I'll always watch Nightspeeds though

I played vanilla XL for years. Then I tried Session (console also) and I cannot definitely say that one is “better” than the other. Session has better graphics and physics but the controls are not intuitive and overcomplicated for no reason. The animations suck, and there is no real switch stance. Also our “skater” has the steeze of someone who has been skating for 6 months.
Oh and the bugs and glitches are just too much, it’s terrible.
XL is floaty, feels like slow motion and moon gravity. The lack of customizability and very few maps, zero updates make it very frustrating to play any more than I have already played.
But for me if I want to chill aand actually land a lot of good tricks in a row, I still like SXL more. I think Session is overhyped and it’s not going to be the “answer” to being the ultimate skate game.
I think both of these studios lack money and that’s why the new EA skate is going to be the best game by far whenever it comes out.
Both Session and SXL feel like unpolished, unfinished pieces of work in my opinion. They did open the doors for a new skating experience, but this whole thing needs to be refined a lot more.
Yes, 100% this. I have thousands of hours in both, skater xl is way better to achieve that flow. And like you said the animations are shit, and animations for goofy stance doesn’t even exist.. which is why most of the time now i am playing skater xl, even on console.
You can lower the environment volume to avoid the commentaries , sounds settings.

@@snags3812if you’re playing on console you can’t speak bro, the game is easily worth $40 on pc. i have 500 hours on that shit, if you’re really into skating there’s no way you can say the game isn’t worth it, it’s the best skate game ever created by far

Console players get no love lol I hate how much they rely on the PC community to keep them a float. They promote modded gear every other week but one map a year (always being Tampa) is really annoying.
Damn I’ve been checking for updates for us Nintendo Switch players to get the mod browser. I’m gonna go insane waiting on this. 💯😂 it was supposed to be in the game when the game came out on Switch!

@@Midgetbrothers You're actual an idiot aye. They released the game at 1.0 aka FULL RELEASE and the game had literally nothing and was full of glitches and just all around terrible. I'm on PC actually cus I bought it originally when it was in early access, WHICH IT SHOULD STILL BE IN NOW. So you're wrong. They charged $89 NZD in my country for this in stores and $50 NZD on Steam for this broken ass game. Its not even worth nearly that much and you're really defending it? This was made by a few people and lots of games that cost millions to make don't charge this much. They're 100% scammers. Literally the only reason people still buy support and play this game is cus of the PC modding community doing all the work for them and making the game actually good. That's people who aren't even on their team doing it for them. Without them the game would be forgotten about. If a game needs to be modded for it be actually be worthwhile it shouldn't be classed as the actual game. Most the work was done by the modders. Which is why I left a very bad review on their Steam page.

I actually deleted this the other day to make space for more games..... Was keeping it on my system as long as I could but nothing was happening unlike in Session. Really hope they can make a really good update, like having a stats menu cuz I really did like skater xl but feel we were told things that never happened.
