I am just an ordinary 13 year old girl from England and I had always been one of the few people around me that believed in change and equality between all people and animals. One day my friend shown me Hetalia and I couldn't be more grateful for it, this fandom has shown me that there are people who care and they are wonderful people. Wow, I feel like it's been forever since I've last heard this song, and this version fits Hetalia so jointly. I'm glad there are Hetalia fans who don't just fangirl over yaoi pairings (I'm not a yaoi fan, sorry) and actually think deeper than the show itself on the concept of personified nations as humans. It conveys the message of world peace and unity, that it is as achievable as a congregation of individuals together against a common cause or dream. Let us make peace, not war, from today's time to the uncertain future. No matter our governments, cultures, histories, and lifestyles, we're all the same, from our elderly to our youth. We may have separate flags that signify our unique ethnicities, but the flag of freedom is still waving in the wind of many voices, on the precious land we call Earth.

I love Hetalia so much. It made me realize how each country and their culture is very different from one another which is absolutely amazing. I love world traveling and I've already been to a few countries. Traveling is what I love doing the most out of anything else. I'm actually going to Germany in June! :3 I also love learning languages! I'm taking German in school and I'm trying to lean Japanese on my own. I try to learn a little in almost every language but I want to be fluent in the other 2. I hope there will be more world peace in the future. No more wars, no more blood shed. Promote world peace~!!! I agree. With the advance of communication and the quicker ways to learn languages, the people of the world will cry out for world peace. Where freedom of speech is real. Where you don't get criticised because your skin color is darker (because in my opinion girls with a darker tone of skin color is very beautiful). Where you won't be judged if you're religious (despite the fact that I'm not religious, I see religion as a beautiful thing that gives hope to many people). And no one will give 2 fucks what's your sexuality and sex (gender). Where extreme poverty is the thing of the past. Where we live in a clean world. But that's an utopia sadly, since some bloodsuckers will do anything to make more money on the short-run.

Really, though, this whole thing was spectacular. It touched me especially, as a Canadian, how you had Canada at the very end, along with that picture of all the countries standing together - one of my favorite FanArts. (Also, I loved that you put an AusHun picture at the lyric "love is the answer" or something like that.) What a beautiful call to world peace. It's as if the characters themselves are asking for it to become a reality.
The song speaks the truth. And i cry every time I listen to it. And where the world is now we really do just need to learn to love.

But reality can be really disappointing, where people hate each other over a race or nationality, trust me, I've experienced it. I'm American(African American/Black), with some English Jamaican. I have been hated for being American by many, especially people who don't understand different cultures. But here in Hetalia, i feel safe to express my nationality without being judged or looked down upon, just for being American, it's not something I can control, just like you can't control what race you are.
