@@MichaelJordan-sw1fw Born in 1956 would make him 20 in 1976. But anyways.. Robbo was incredible. Schooled on the piano, auditioning for job as a drummer. Talking through his guitar. Too bad the boy was almost born an alcoholic.. Met him 8 years ago. The guy's a wreck, but still a helluva blues slinger. Wasted talent..
Wow, this is the good stuff 👍🔥🔥 Saw them in the 70s at the Pink Pop festival in Holland . Crazy good and even crazyer loud, beeeep in my ears for 3 days 😜😜 Phill Lynott has a life size statue in Dublin. I was in Dublin twice to visit. Thanks girl 👍❤ Great reaction 🌷😁👍
I agree with you ITZJT. When I 1st heard the guitar solo in this song back in 1977. I was stunned. I listened to this song and the whole Thin Lizzy: Johnny the Fox album. And they became my Favorite Band Of All Time and Johnny the Fox became my Favorite Album Of All Time.
Rock Chick and just wish you were around to see em live with the sweat just pouring from Phil on stage. The reaction when the guitar solo started was just classic.!!! Try Tom Tom Club: Wordy Rapping Hood / My Oh My : Sad Cafe
Was it because Brian Robertson was a classical trained pianist? Never sought fame or glory. Lived for musical interpretation only. This is truly a case of next level guitar.
Thin Lizzy is my Favorite Band Of All Time. Please listen to one of my favorite songs by them called Wild one. I think you will enjoy it. You Rock ITZJT.
Wow! Itzjt - I had forgotten this one.. (if you can find live video, please!) Phil Lynott (lead singer & bass player) is magnetic.. saw him live just once... they were one of the first 70's bands to do that dual-lead guitar thing... appreciate your reaction!
Love your reaction to the solo. Brian Robertson was a pioneer of the wah wah pedal. I say pioneer because he's not a great as he once was.Johnny from the album Johnny the fox has other great wah wah solos
Not the best Lizzy song anyway but pleasant one. Good period is from 74 to 78 with songs like : Suicide , Warriors, Johnny the Fox meets jimmy the weed, Shalalala, Massacre from the live Album « Alive and dangerous » released in 1978
You need to hear the live version on Live and Dangerous on fact the whole album. It feels like your at the gig and it's still voted the greatest live album of all time.
Love it! If you haven't yet, Still in love with you from the Live and Dangerous album is a must. Phil Lynotts greatest song and performance ever. Check it out!
Thin lizzy one of the greatest rock bands in the world
Af all time..brother..
Rekon his voice is the shit,
Yes ,yes,!! My favorite classic rock band,
Suicide, Massacre, bad reputation, fools gold
I love this band. I was fortunate to see them live in concert back in the ‘70s and to this day they have remained a favorite.
Brian Robertson was only about 19yrs old on this album.. Little Scottish powerhouse.
he was @ 23 yrs old but some guitarist, one of his best solos, he liked using the wah wah pedal
Criminally underrated .

Still In Love With You.. Live And Dangerous.. Sade covers it❤
One of the best live bands I've ever seen, and I've seen alot. From the first note to the last, this band was SMOKIN' !!!!!
there is two versions of this song one fast and one slow! this is the fast one!
Late to the party, but it’s pronounced TIN Lizzy, not THIN lizzy . Just a tip . Rock on .
I agree with you ITZJT.

You need to watch him sing this in a video
Phil was a genius, gone to soon RIP
One of the greatest to ever do it ❤️
Wild One is a great song
This is super tight rock pounded forward, one of my favorite energy songs
There is a slow version to this song Phil lynott produced don't get me wrong this track is just fantastic but it's not what Phil lynott wanted....
Two minutes and 18 seconds of absolute perfection. Saw this band live and they were just incredible.
You need to listen to Still In Love With You taken from the Live and Dangerous album .
Thin Lizzy is my Favorite Band Of All Time.
Please listen to one of my favorite songs by them called Wild one.
I think you will enjoy it.
You Rock ITZJT.
Johnny the Fox meets Jimmy the weed.....that song is so funky its sticky!
This sound is made by a guitar with a wah-wah-pedal.

Listen for 30 years..give me chills all the time❤
One of the best solos EVER wasted on you.
Try Emerald or Cowboy Song.
Brian Robertson throwing out the book
Thin Lizzy "Southbound "
An all time great rocker.

Loved your video on Thin Lizzy. You should do a video on the song Bad Reputation. Or Cold Sweat. Hugs
Not the best Lizzy song anyway but pleasant one.

The wah wah pedal used on the lead guitar solo is pure genius by Brian Robertson..
You need to hear the live version on Live and Dangerous on fact the whole album. It feels like your at the gig and it's still voted the greatest live album of all time.

Still in love with you from the Live and Dangerous album is a must. Phil Lynotts greatest song and performance ever. Check it out!
She's so offended what Brian Robertson is doing to her. It is an attack truly.
Great video. Great song. Guitarist using a wah pedal. He’s famous for it - Brian Robertson
From my favorite album alive and dangerous.
Solid gold
👌
Gary Moore on the guitar was a bit of a boss.
I'm pretty sure this is Gorham/Robbo on this one bud..
Gary didn't play on Johnny The Fox. But yeah, he was a boss!
Brian Robertspn played that solo, Hary Moore came in late 1978 to replace Robbo
@@MichaelJordan-sw1fw that was Brian correct 👌
