I feel I'm not involved in my man's life, I have to chase him all the time, he didn't initiate to let me know about his life, and it's been frustrating me. Now I should stop wanting to know about him and his life and start focusing on myself and my own life

No A Muslim is concerned with the pain that inflicts anther Muslim. The ummah is like one body, when one organ is in pain, the others cannot simply ignore, but they're also pained by it. We must keep our brothers and sisters in our duas, send them sadaqa, boycott their enemies and do whatever is in our power to stop their pain. That's an imperative. What we shouldn't do is to go about doing what's totally not beneficial for us, such as mindless scrolling on social media and the like. May Allah forgive us all.

It's actually not difficult at all to NOT sneak into people's lives or privacy as one is usually so absorbed by their own concerns and personal matters that they wouldn't normally have time to look into other people's lives. Now, the huge problem we're all facing these days is the current trend of extreme privacy exposure on all social media platforms that seems to make most people think that they do almost have the complete right to spy on you through listening to your conversations when you're on the phone even if you're muttering, ask vendors to tell them what you've bought, try to know what you're doing inside your own house, etc... And they're always shocked when you call the police because they do believe that you're the unhealthy one in the story as you obviously have something to hide!!!! Incredibly insane and the whole world is embracing this path now!!! Although it doesn't shock me that much when it comes from unbelievers whose respective cultures have generated a lot of nonsense over the last decades, I'm simply appalled when it is actually sustained by Muslims in Muslim countries where they should be having much more respect for people's privacy as the holy Quran teaches us....
