The full makeup and costumes... pyrotechnics... energy from the band while performing together again AND the crowded arena went crazy!! It was KISS PERFECTION... TRANSPORTING ALL OF US ACROSS SPACE AND TIME.. BACK TO THE 70's & 80's! They performed so well, looked just as they did then, gave us wild energy on stage, their smiles and interaction between each other rocked!

Wow, I never knew. I looked them up. Dave Clark 5, The Crystals, and The Rolling Stones. I always thought Kiss was an origional entity. Ace was always amazing to me for New York Groove on his solo Kiss album. Now I discovered that it was first done by Hello.
Look at the photos on Alive II if you have the LP version. Also watch the vids from back then. Pearl built Peter the largest drum set ever assembled in 1977. So big that no one could ever afford to buy a copy set (some $25,000 today that would be over $100,000.) Also check out the reunion videos, Peter was using his Pearls for that.

He didn't have confidence in his vocals at first so when he wrote songs, he said he'd just give them to Gene or Paul. Rumor is he first sang on a song called Queen For A Day, then the first recorded track that made it to an album was Shock Me. Ace is actually a good singer.
Just ordered all their original solo albums from Amazon. Have got a CD where it has one track from each album and New York Groove is on it and so far Ace is my fav!
