Very good video. I must apologise with getting so engrossed with taking video at the museum. Before I started filming railways I had (and still do!) quite an interest in trams and trolleybuses. If I visit the museum there at another gala event I'll have to take a trip on one of the buses running to Beccles. Again, from the front seat you got an excellent view of the driver and the controls. Can easily tell it's a 1960's bus by the lack of power steering as well. I filmed a driver taking a tight turn at the trolleybus museum and I remember him really having to pull the steering wheel to take a right turn!
hi,there is a problem with the power steering on this vehicle.there should be no force in turning the steering wheel.also no force should be used to engage the gear from standing still. check linkage and clutch slave cyl.thanks p.smith , ex aec ltd.
Very 1950s-1960s single decker wth lovely AEC sound. On town services with a manual gearbox driving must have been hard work.

Beaudifulll!! That poor 470 got laboured quite a bit though!!
Slightly surprised to see it has a manual box, nice though.
