So Minutes To Midnight was written after Chester and his first wife got a divorce... and this song makes it pretty clear that there wasn't a clean end to that relationship. I do agree with you though. I personally like In Pieces quite a bit, but the 2nd half of Minutes To Midnight is definitely a lot slower than the first half, and it needed another shot of energy before the end... and while The Little Things Give You Away is a great song, it IS another softer, slower piece.
Also, Brad (their guitarist) has gone on record saying that he DOES NOT LIKE guitar solos. I mean, he likes listening to them, but as a guitarist, he was never fond of creating or playing solos. He has always been more than comfortable just letting his guitar parts be part of a greater whole instead of standing out. Minutes To Midnight, and In Pieces particularly, were his first time really experimenting with having solos, and it'd come back with a vengeance in The Hunting Party. I'll say though, listening to In Pieces, you wouldn't hear that and think "Yeah, this is a guy who doesn't like playing guitar solos."
Don't forget to check out the bonus tracks "NO ROADS LEFT" and "ACROSS THE LINE". They're so fcking dope! Mike Shinoda's best vocal performance of his career on No Roads Left, in my opinion.
I said on an earlier video that this is one of their softest albums. Up until the last 4 tracks of the album, it's around 50/50 between the harder and softer sounding songs but then the last 4 songs of the album are all really soft overall which results in the album as a whole being a lot softer. I think this is probably their softest album outside of their last album "One More Light"
What's interesting though is that their heavier sounding songs on this album are some of the heaviest of their career i.e. Given Up and No More Sorrow.
Watching a person play guitar hero to this is hilarious, cuz it's so Basic at first, then Brad goes nutz... and they're like WHAT?!!
Simply react to every album of them pls. Once Mike said we love to experimenting different things different genres. If we do one thing for a wholetime we would be crazy. They stick with their uniqueness and growing to different paces. In tge end its MUSIC there’s nothing wrong with evolutionary.
More more LINKIN PARK PLEASE !!!!!!! LETSSSS GOOOO !!! 😎
Haha, stay true! Refreshing with honest reactors! I don't wanna see those pretending to love everything, what's the point in that? It's so blatant obvious to me when they pretend also. I want truth and perspectives! :) Thank you!
Probably one of my favourite LP songs❤️🔥
Same it's so underrated
You had me in stitches with that vocal coach comment, it's so true! Just mention head voice, chest voice, larynx and BAM, you're a vocal coach.
There are few versions of this album, most have the bonus live version of “what ive done” and “Across the line” so you must include these in this album reaction! Love the reactions and ya channel 👍
When you are done with Minutes to Midnight make sure you react to New Divide before you start A Thousand Suns.
I absolutely adore this song but I agree, a change of pace would've been nice I guess. I never thought of it before but you're right. 4 or 5 slower songs in a row, it could've done with something lol.
Linkin Park write all their own lyrics. Chester, Mike and Brad doing the bulk of it. Which I admire. I prefer bands/musicians who actually write their own stuff lol.
This song can relate to so much
Don't forget Across the line and no roads left please (bonus tracks)
i was watching until the end xd i don't know, but i just like your reactions, and the thing with the "reactors" doing backflips (xd) that was great, i'm confused about it too. Now you have one track left, and the 'bonus edition' ones if you want to check them. I'm hoping that you will do rest of their albums to be honest. Your perspective is interesting. Good luck :)
Hahaha how many vocal coaches are there hahaha
Agree that a change of pace could have been good. I really love how Chester sang this, it felt very "gritting my teeth and holding back my anger". Maybe a bigger release of that could have worked really well. On the other hand, having to keep a lid on some emotions doing tense conflicts and how it still slips through is really relatable I think.
Can't wait for next one! Probably my favorite off this
My favorite song
Underrated song imo!
Great reaction!! You should check out their album hunting party, it's heavy.
Dead By April - Memory
Dead By April - Losing You
Dead By April - As A Butterfly
8:52 LOL!
i think you missed shadow of the day. and looking forward to the bonus tracks :)
PLEASE do Shadow Of The Day I guess you miss it..
Is it just me or did u also thing this was Ben Falcone? Lol. Bartender in "New Girl".
LOL Nah don't do me like that lol
@@UnfilteredReactions Lmao. I'm sorry. I kept picturing you in a black and white buffalo check shirt as a bartender lol. No offense at all.
All jokes aside, ur reaction to Brad's solo was exactly like mine. You wanna shake ur head as the strings go lmbo.
@@lynortiz7971 LMAO
Two cool songs in would love to see a reaction to.... "It's going down" by Linkin Park and "The way you like it's by Adema, produced by LP. Woot woot. Get it! Waiting to rock with you all. Lol
The last song on the album is another slow song.......but it's arguably the best song on the album
You should go live for this song
So, is it good for you what this album half-calm?
Please do the other albums as well
"Nail it to her heart!" Yes!!
You actually look and sound like Jessie Pinkman🤣
Like the soft but can't wait for the hunting party.but I love all the songs on this album hard to pick out 5 songs dude but I will be there for you live
Did he leave out Shadow of the day and Bleed it out?
He already heard Bleed it out so no need to react to it, he did Leave out All the rest but still didn't react to Shadow of The day, hopefully he will soon
@@daniellevitoriaa840 i think he said that he did it but it was blocked by youtube
@@matts42 really? :( I wanted to see his reactions.. youtube is getting worse, I can't understand why other people did with no problem.. anyway..
