Chester’s back vocals in this song are haunting to me. One of my favorites on this album. You are correct in saying it is art, perfect description ❤️
I think Robot Boy is such a compassionate and empowering song. It connects to our vulnerability, relates, reaches out a hand, and says "get on your feet, I know you can do it". Personally when I listen to it, I believe it.
One of the most underrated LP songs ever imo.
I normally don't sing along to music, but this song... I can't not sing. I'm 13 and I've been a fan of all at their albums. my parents introduced me to this band when I was 7 or so, and I've loved every bit of them since. RIP

back in the day, this was the song that absolutely fucking destroyed me. Noone ever noticed tho, so dont mention it.
My mom is 65 and I got her into Linkin Park. This is her favorite song. Those lyrics are deep and the songs echoes the impacts of the decisions we make as we get older. I love it too. Glad to see more people appreciating their talents and introspection.

A much as I really, really love Robot Boy... they actually released an alternate version of this with different lyrics.
I kind of want to say that they were "demo" lyrics, but the production on that track was just as finished and polished as on this album version of Robot Boy. But I think those lyrics were better than what made the cut:

This kinda gives me a Beatles vibe. Just Chester’s background vocals and the way the song progresses.
Not my favorite from the album but definitely the best for the lyrics, simple but heavy!
ATS is just a 'pure sex' when listening in it's entirety. Like I unfortunately listened to it for the first time just after Chester's death (but was a huge fan of Hybrid Theory/Meteroa but just brached off to heavier stuff etc. so didn't pay attention to LP maybe outside some hit radio singles ) and even in year 2017 this album sounded fresh as fuck! I can see it defintely being way 'ahead of the curve' for 2010. One of my favourite LP albums

Chestet gave signs through his music from the very beginning.. it just got even more apparent how much he waa suffering as the years went by, especially on their last album One More Light, so sad...
I hope you not one of those people, that think "omg, it was cry for help the whole time and we didnt listen him, now songs have a different meaning, bla bla". It (Linkin Park and Chester songs) is what it is since day 1.
Talking about One More Light: some people mistakenly consider the whole album as Chester's cry for help WHILE most of the lyrics was written not by him since Chester mainly was not around during writing/recording process of One More Light album, because of being in rehab, etc.

Outside this song and the catalyst a thousand suns was a big let down but it’s kinda why this song isn’t noticed very often and gets over shadowed by the catalyst and iridescent cause it was in a movie 😆
Also blackout was in fifa 11
