What a fantastic time at Performance Cycle of Colorado getting a tire education with Kyle! Many brands and he even gave us some dirt riding tips at the end. Thanks for watching!
Been shopping at Performance since the 90s while chasing Davey Newell ( Super Smooth) around a track. Definitely the most honest staff around. They ride too. They're not trying to sell you anything, they're trying to hook you up. It's what they would buy. That's priceless.
Great video. Thanks for the information. I've got it narrowed down to the Dunlop Trailmax Mission or Raid and the Motoz Tractionator GPS Adventure or Raid. Can't really make up my mind. I have a 23 Triumph 1200 GT Explorer which has road tires which most of my riding will be road, but I still want to venture off road some. Thanks again.
Good timing! I just took off the Tractionator ADV's and mounted the Raid's about 10 minutes ago. I hope they get some great mileage, as well as dirt performance. I'm off to try some elephant turns in the dirt, will be posted on my IG (same name: Motobeemer). Thanks!
Outstanding observation! We also left out my fav (to date) the Tractionator Adventures. In the end, it came down to trying to walk through every single tire or give an overview. Great catch and thanks for calling it out.
I just bought a new E Bike the Bigniu BGX , it came with 20“ x 5“ tires. I want to put a 6 inch on the back. Is that possible? What size motorcycle tire do I need for that?
TMM definitely for longevity, in my experience. I truly enjoy the MotOZ as well, for more dirt capability but they are noisy and have less of a life span.
This is correct. I have heard that directly from them. They they don’t like to be called Moto-Z. But hey, I guess it’s all about the tires. Or is that tyres?

Great information here. Can't wait to put 95/5 street tires on my pan america and unleash the wheelie monster.

Adventure bike education without mentioning Mitas …. How come? I can see them in the background of the video

Mitas E07+ 🙌
You always deliver top-notch content. 💪
Time to choose for my next set of tires!

Yes. They make both
Congratulations 👏 #MotorcycleTips

I wouldn't begin to know, but I'm betting a call to Performance Cycle (where I filmed this) would yield a good answer.
Raid looks cool but Imma stick with the Missions. Good vid.
Yea I'm curious about the Raid's, not sure they will be that much better than the Mission's for the type of riding I do.
For my adventure rides, thanks for the info!

Thank you! 🙏
Could you list the weights of all the tires for a consistent size? For smaller ADV a tire that weighs twice as much matters right?
Weight absolutely does matter. Great observation
Still debating the 80/20 vs 70/30. Focusing on road bias, wet weather capabilities and longevity. Will try the TrailMax Mission for long rides.

Great video. Thanks.
BTW - the correct pronunciation is "Mow-tahz". It's owned by Aussies and that's how they pronounce it.
