I love the car I had one myself back in the day it was white with red interior oh how I wish I had it today of course. But I love your story, exactly what you are doing 100% in respect of your father that is worth more than gold. What a story God bless you and your family.
My dad had a black 1960 Starliner when I was born in 1963. In 1966, he bought a 1966 Country Sedan station wagon and drove it to work. Mom hauled us seven kids around in the Starliner. Dad sold it in 1969 when my brother’s foot went through the rusted floorboards. He traded it for a baby blue 1969 Ford Fairlane 2-DR coupe.
What a rare beautiful treat to be able to cherish. At the very start of the video I thought he was going to sell it and I thought how could you! My father had a ‘66 Ford Galaxie 500 I’m the same colour combination, black with red interior.
My dad bought a starliner in 60 it also had the 352 hi po..i was 5 years old and remember that car well..he traded a 55 Victoria for it..and in 63 he traded the 60 for a 63 Galaxie black with red interior beautiful car i wish he would've kept it..3 years later he traded the 63 for a 66 Galaxie he passed in 75 but not before buying my mom a 74 cougar XR7 he still had the 66..
Nice legacy. If it were mine, I would do as you are refurb mechanicals. And just wash it as normal back in the day, clean the engine but just wash it. Clean the interior no doubt it has that "vintage car smell" and drive it and enjoy ... forget restoration (it's worth more now)....
Really enjoyed this video, awesome video and production cheers KC Cradle Mountain Tasmania Australia 😎👍🇦🇺🇦🇺
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the kind words - cheers back to you from the USA!
