Good snag! I’ve been loving mine! Don’t overlook Returnal either. Yes, it’s hard - blisteringly so, but it’s also one of the most innovative major releases I’ve played in years. Either way, thus looks amazing & I’ll be grabbing it for sure.
@@miketravis4242 I can vouch for you on this it was the second truly PS5 game (as in no ps4 version with free update or free full upgrade) I got and it's epic and given I don't much time and yhe way the structure everything I can get a good run for the fuxk of it in if I don't have time. Or if have the time a long methodical run where I try to further progress the story.

You hover over it and it allows you to select replay. I'd already completed the original version of the game before the directors cut dlc was released so I'm guessing this only becomes an option after the main story has been finished. Either way it's great to be able to replay some of these.

I reached Act 2 yesterday and quickly grabbed the Sakai armor and finished Yurikos sidequests and then went off to Iki. I am glad I could go there pretty early because the stuff you get on Iki is extremely awesome! Though I noticed an error in dialogue. Jin told the Eagle that he killed Khotun and that 1000 Samurai will arrive tomorrow even though rn I haven't killed Khotun and there's only 1 other Samurai on Tsushima. So yeah, intended to be played after the main story I guess.
@@halalwifey ahh, the DLC is intended for those that have completed the game already, like I said before i wouldn't start the game if you haven't already completed the game because just like that dialogue, there are many spoilers and references to the story on Tsushima. But when he mentions the samurai and Lord Shimura, I think this confirms the true ending to the story which is that you don't kill lord Shimura in the end, and the arrival of 1000 samurai is the reinforcements sent by the shogunate to defend Tsushima

Regardless of your ending, the samurai despise you and still want you dead. Also, Jin mentioned several times that Tsushima is still swarming with Mongols, which wouldn't make sense after the game's completion. They also refused to get rid of Kenji, because you might not have done his 3 Tales on Tsushima, though that is unrelated to main story progression.

one of the most crazy moments with the poison was SPOILER WARNING FOR MAIN STORY i came across a dead body decapitated and got a poison flashback to taka. it was kinda terrifying and the body was in the middle of nowhere i was shocked

It's not really easier, but it helps for some people. He didn't talk about a lot of stuff, like Haptics, Triggers, 3D Tempest Audio, Duel and Camp replays, alternative control schemes, new things in Legends mode, hiding the quiver, etc. And those are free things even if you don't buy the DLC.
@@asomeoneperson4608 Yup, every QOL change they made, they made it for free. Lock-On, Replaying Duels/Camps, Alternative Button controls, Animation re-work, new Legends mode, etc. All that was included for free even if you don't own Iki Island or even the PS5 version/Upgrade.
I find that their “reviews” are so jaded, it makes the game that’s being reviewed better. Also, know that there’s going to be spoilers in their reviews (that they don’t warn you about before hand)… “gamespot reviews”, 5 out of 10. Better to just skip ton the end.

well I'm ready to pay 20 dollars and tbh its worth it because if you compare the expansion and inFamous Second Son its basically the same hour of gameplay (roughly 8-15 hours).

Duels from the original game were some of the most fun I've ever had in a video game. I'll probably buy it just for that sparring minigame.
You can replay all of the enemy camps, all of the Straw Hat Ronin duels and all the boss/ legendary duels as well.

Very similar. I'd say this game is a lot better, and a lot less repetitive. It really has a great story and great writing.
So you can start Iki Island from within the game, halfway through the story, and you can use Iki Island charms etc on Tsushima too?

I completed the Iki Island after all of the main story. It has spoilers for the main story so leave it until last I'd suggest.

This guy didn't talk about the new lockon mechanic that makes it easier to fight.
