Think you’ve just found me my new yacht Hugo. Just need to win tonight’s Euromillions jackpot. All joking aside this is a fantastic example of British craftsmanship. Princess are making some brilliant yachts and are matching the Italians these days
So much nicer than the X95. This thing looks sleek and sophisticated, as any Princess should. Nobody does interiors better - just bling-free perfection..
Nicest boat I’ve seen in a long time. The X95 would be my choice, but I’d settle for this boat if I had to. I could rough it if needs be. Ha ha! Thanks you for a great review of this vessel, I have enjoyed it.
That's got to be one of the best boats I've seen on your channel for a long time. I wouldn't be able to afford to fill half of those fridges never mind the fuel tanks. 😂
Oh my goodness, although I think the X95 is a masterclass in design this Y95 is the yacht I would buy, what an absolutely gorgeous design, everything about it just oozes quality. I've always been a fan of Princess yachts and the S78 has been my favourite yacht of any manufacturer for years but this has trumped it, never thought it could happen but wow. Thanks Hugo, what a treat this video is. 👏👏👏👏👍❤️🇬🇧
Stunning and as he said Princess has nailed the interior. I think they do the most tasteful interiors on the market, other more renowned brands are on the glitzy side of things and lack the class that Princess brings to the fore every time. This new boat also has the exterior to match
It’s great to see that we can build fantastic boats in this country I just hope that other manufacturers who call themselves British build your prouducts in Britain you owe to this country ,we have the skills and knowledge
Excellent tour. And I appreciate you do the camera work yourself which means the viewer can see what you are talking about rather than looking at someone talking about some part of the yacht that is not being shown. Jack could learn something about that on his new channel.
Much nicer than the X95 . Far more successfully resolved , more understated and beautifully finished . A classic pedigree Princess ! thanks for tour Hugo
Very nice boat! Very detailed video…awesome many thx! Btw one of the best boat tours I have seen apart from Aquaholic and the virtual yacht broker (sunseeker guy) 🤙👌🌴☀️
It's a very nice boat. I think Princess is finally coming into their own with these 95 hulls. I just wish they would not call that aft area a "beach club".
Hi Hugo. This is waaay better than the X. Unbelievable large cabins, almost 2 master. Access from flybridge to fore deck. Awesome walkthrough tour thanks 😊
Superb presentation ......of an Amazing Boat , british workmanship at its finest , Thank you , Dreams can come true !! Well!! I keep telling my family lol 👍
Lovely leisurely tour of a fabulous boat……… too much to own and drive full time, but too much to let someone else drive for you 🙂 More than quick enough with those creamy V12’s………. but, even if I could stretch to the buying, maintaining and crewing of the boat……… filling it up would give me a coronary 😢 A very well judged, tasteful interior and a much more boaty boat than the X Nice that you got left to do a thorough tour without fighting for time and space……. Cheers Hugo 🥳
Brilliant presentation, great production from Princess. This looks a dream product, lovely finish in every area along with a great walk through and presentation. I fancy one of these here in the Caribbean. What do you think?
Thanks for this beauty! Y95 has larger displacement than the Sunseeker 100? My company has the Y85 in Hong Kong. We cruised all the way to Phuket from HK. Next trip is Raja Ampat.
Very nice, but the Pearl 95 costs a lot less while offering similar facilities and the Sunseeker 100 master cabin is a showstopper. I just wish the choice was not, for me, completely hypothetical!
Love this. the X series was a little too much for my taste - but I'll have to watch the review again. When I get that winning ticket this will be on the short list. But then I do tend to get seasick so maybe I'll just charter one and make sure I see some other part besides the bathroom floor.
I dont understand... Why do most manufacturers not do anything with the front third of the boat other than (usually) just slap some sunbeds or seats on there? Whats the reason? Asthetics? Tradition? Cost?
The defining feature for me with this over the X95 (or any flybridge which does this) is the open deck. When the flybridge is enclosed, making a block of flats, it ruins the whole design. To gain a 4th deck on a 'small' yacht by enclosing the flybridge is self defeating. If someone were to offer me either boat it would be the Y95, no hesitation.
£12 million for 95ft? Prices are really getting insane now. Personally, I'd buy a 5yr old Sunseeker 115 for about £8 million. Still in great condition, and way more yacht for the money.
Nick doesn't always get first shot. Also Hugo said it was a December day, so MBY turned this video out ASAP. Nick may have toured this boat but not released the video yet. You do realize Nick worked for Hugo for years.
@@rtbinc2273 Thank you for you essay, but yes I've been following MB&Y, Nick, along with their other yacht industry vloggers, for several years now. My comment was REALLY about trying to get the audience to imagine Nick and Hugo like a pair of naughty school boys taking turn to lick the woodend spoon that mixed the cake batter. How I didn't make this inference clear is beyond me, I shall walk with shame for years go come - a heavy burden on my soul.
@@darthkek1953 LOL I think it wasn't imagination - You were right! Nick just posted his review. I think it really was Hugo one upping Nick by getting his review out first. So - the gaffer really did get the first lick of the spoon. What got to me was when Hugo said it was a December day - The video was released on Dec. 2 so it had to have be shot on Dec 1, so I'm guessing Hugo knows Nick's schedule so he thought he'd get to be first in line.
12 million? I was told yacht prices were headed down! That's incredible! Guess that's the price for British build quality. Neat life raft delivery system. Not too sure about this one. I would take the X95 probably over this. But the 90 or 100 Ocean also work. 5 crew though...that's a lot. I would take 3 crew and maybe a teacher for my kids.
@@darthkek1953 Hell no!!! You know I would take a Bering, Numarine, CdM, Cheoy Lee, or Mengi Yay, or a Dutch/German legacy brand over a GRP cake topper! C'mon KEK! You know me better than that. But given the choice between the 2, the X95 has better range and is better rated. I'm firmly in the camp of explorer yachts. When Denison flew me in for FLIBS that's all I wanted to see and knew the most about. I mean I knew about the other stuff too, but I could rattle off the stats on the explorer yachts. Getting on Qing, Dorothea III, Numarine 37XP, At Last, Abbracci, 4 Rose's, Neureus...they were nice. Dorothea III and her sister Qing were amazing. Getting on Mizu though...I got chills. Hands down the best and not just because the owner had a Countach high downforce on the back deck.
Asian market 5 crew is must. Captain, 2 hands, chef and massage lady. To the person calling this harbor queen - we cruise the worlds busiest shipping lanes (HK-SIN-Phuket-Mumbai) in a Y85 with no issues. I can take the Y85 to Mars and back if needed.
@@solaryatra I'm going to withdraw my comment but I don't want to edit it or delete it, I want to leave this here on the record that I was wrong. After checking I was mistaken, this vessel is rated CE A not CE B. That means it is DEFINTELY ocean capable not a harbour queen. Thank you Satyakam for provoking me to check this, I was wrong.
@@solaryatra I didn't know this was a cat A vessel either. I figured 50 Mike's would be the max she was rated for. I've been a deckhand on yachts that shouldn't cross Oceans even though they were tated for it, but it's not something you feel safe on. Smooth water with a light chop or even 3 meter waves is OK, but hitting a beam sea with a whiteout squall and breakers over the bow with your tender on the swim deck becoming an ocean filled plunge pool, these yachts aren't very fun. Things start breaking. While true of any ship in bad seas, plastic fantastic yachts have too many flex points past a certain size and the cabinetry really hates that, as do the generators and everyone on board. Lovely boat but 12 million....ouch! Seems it's getting harder to compete, on price, with the likes of Turkish offerings and in the near future those from the far East. Still it makes my shortlist for when my numbers come up.
Hugo, are you the only one working for MBY now? Where is Jack or Alex. Don't get me wrong, you're my favorite,,but still good to get Jack's face on here now and again.
I love princess yachts but its not worth that amount of money. I prefer the x95 . The x95 has a few flaws but is exactly what people are buying from all the manufacturers. The bow on the x95 has openings in the front allowing tons of spray to hit the windshield. Also the x95 isn't beamy enough. Its only 22 ft wide. While competeters are making similar boats over 23 ft wide on 80 ft lengths with sky lounges. That would take away from the top heavy appearance. From the side the x95 is to futuristic looking compared to competeters making the same thing. That style is selling really good because of more interior area for guests and crew. Especially now since anything over 100 ft is so heavily regulated.. sunseeker is making an 80 style just like the x95 and have enclosed the 90 ocean. Horizon sells an fd series from 75 to 110 with the forward sloping windshields and can't build them fast enough. This shape of yacht on the y95 has a lot of competition. I don't see it really selling that well. Even though I think it's really well done.
The original one had one of the worst crew areas given how much other space there is on the ship, I don’t really see this one improving it, just more bunks. Honestly, shame in Princess for designing it that way as the rest of the boats are amazing.
Very nice bit of kit, but way over priced. Sunseeker and Pearl offer better value for money, by far. It will be very interesting to see what one looks like after a couple of years use, because with the crew arrangements, (shoe box) there is no way any owner will get good crew to work on this boat the owner and Princess should be ashamed
Really doesn’t matter what my opinion of the boat is, I’m never going to be rich enough to buy one……..however, for the record, I’m rather disappointed.

I do like the y better than the x but I'm a big fan of the negative windshield.
What would this size yacht coast in reality to run and maintain annually? Does anyone have some realistic figures.?
Beautiful boat. And anyone that dislikes the look of the X95 should be more concerned with how boring of a person they are.
