Thanks for watching!
Nothing in this video is sponsored. I received the tinted moisturizer complimentary from First Aid Beauty. #OctolyFamily Find the product here: www.octoly.com/c/hbjpj/r/hay5o

All I ever want to wear are BBs, CCs, tinted moisturizers, etc., despite my having an assortment of high end foundations. It's so easy! So far, my repurchases have been Smashbox CC in Fair/Light and dr jart+ Premium BB, but I have also tried a variety of others. I wish No 7 City Lights didn't have alcohol :-(. Thanks so much for reviewing these and please do more!!! XO Julie
Great informative video! Looking forward to your video about SPF's.
thank you!
yup coming soonnnn...
And oh hey Jo, I found out from a real makeup artist that for concealing "spots," using a concealer (or foundation/whatever) that is *slightly* darker than your skin shade helps blend/camouflage those spots into your skin. I found it to be the best tip ever. That's probably why you can use that darker FAB tinted moisturizer as an additional spot concealer and it works. It's also great that it has spf 30 to provide added sun protection to help it heal without extra hyperpigmentation.
That is such a good tip!!! That explains why my fave concealer is this foundation that’s way too thick and dark (the PUR bare it all foundation). Thanks for sharing!!!

Most helpful information.
I found I always broke out or got bumps from the No7 tinted moisturizer. I'm not sure if it was the chemical sunscreen or the alcohol in the product. I'm reluctant to try other chemical sunscreens on my face, but the whitecast from my natural one is too real!
just a request :) do investing vids again
Really good video - just the right amount of detail to help us make a decision! I also prefer lighter weight tints and BB's, even though I have some pigmentation I'm working on erasing. I just prefer a more natural look and, truth be told, can be bothered to be too fussy! xo
totally... i sometimes watch these videos and just cringe when i see how much foundation people use >.< i just imagine all the ruined white shirts lol
Ha! Yes, I think that too! Plus, I don't really want to cover everything, just smoothing things out is good enough for me; I like to have my skin actually see-able, and a little bit flawed is just fine. XO
Any idea if suitable to use during pregnancy?
My dermatologist explains that alcohol in products is mostly used to help stabilize other ingredients.
yup exactly. so i don't mind if it's in there particularly lowe ron the ingred list, but i know some people are sensitive to it
Jo's Logic vs Luxury agreed, however, some people are mentally "sensitive" to certain ingredients that are not bad or harmful.
