I just passed my OET with flying colors! 🎉✨ I prepared for 5 weeks and focused on using Benchmark for writing and speaking practice, as well as Swoosh English Mock Exams to fine-tune my skills. For speaking, I followed these criteria from Richard Foster of Benchmark:
1⃣ Introductions and greetings.
2⃣ Echoing and summarizing patient information.
3⃣ Creating a plan for the conversation and using signposting.
4⃣ Lastly, asking the patient to summarize what we’ve discussed.
These strategies were game-changers for me! 🚀 A huge thank you to these amazing resources for helping me achieve my goal. To anyone preparing for the OET, consistency and the right materials make all the difference. You’ve got this! 💪📚
