In this fifth part of OET Speaking Lessons series from Benchmark OET edubenchmark.com, we will cover how you can gather information from the patient during the speaking test.
In this video we’re going to talk about how to get as many points as possible by exercising the skill of gathering information. We’ll discuss the types of information you might gather, we’ll discuss when you might obtain that information and we’ll also focus on how you demonstrate to the examiner that you have successfully used the skills associated with gathering information
You may be having excellent English and medical knowledge, but if you don’t understand the role play card well and make sure you greet the patient, introduce, gather information and conclude well, chances are you may find it hard to achieve 350 or B grade in the speaking exam.
