      Hi Basser,yes i was doing all work on this Bass,and it all ready have new owner,and i can not anybody touch that.Whatch my channel and soon i will do a new one.Thank you and have a nice day.Gabo

    This bass did big step to be made from chipboard or plywood rather than plain dry wood.

    Can someone please explain to me how this is better than just throw that old thing out instead of building a new one from the same kind of materials and technique?
    That old thing must have peaked at some point, but can you ever get that back by repairing?
    I mean no disrespect, it was beautiful afterwards. But I don't get why....

      Because the "old thing" has a value that a newly made "thing" doesn't have.

      Old instruments can age like fine wine, but only if the bass is properly taken care of. The wood doesn't go bad, unless it's ruined by water damage or if it has warped excessively. Even then, a bass in poor shape can still be restored.
