I always buy a big bag of lemons. Juice them all and freeze them in ice cube trays. Dump them in a jar and keep them frozen. Each cube is about a tablespoon. So I always have fresh lemon juice on hand!
Hey, freeze then decant ! 👍 And yes you can use glass jars in the freezer ! - just don't tighten the lid on anything that still has to freeze bc of expansion. Love this - will do it with my parsley/ lemon/ water, i think.

I find crock pot cooking wonderful! When I was working, I would throw all the ingredients in the pot, go to work (crock pot on LOW) and when I came home, the house smelled delicious and I could sit down to eat right away, not having to cook after a long day at work. Now that I am retired, I frequently do the same when I will be leaving the house for the morning or the day, knowing that I will come home to great meals.
Along with people who work outside the home, imagine a new mom or one with a toddler who can dump everything in a slow cooker and safely ignore it for hours, as opposed to standing at a hot stove trying not to get distracted. Or an elderly person who might have mobility or beginning memory issues who can dump, program and safely forget it without burning the house down, and not deal with hot, heavy pans or bending over at a hot oven with a scalding hot casserole dish, esp if they have a small, easy to manage crockpot. I love to cook too, can spend hours in the kitchen just for fun, but that can be a luxury for some folks - and very unsafe for others! Not everyone is you.
@@leapintothewild well, I am me. I enjoy cooking and making everything at home from scratch, down to milling my own wheat berries for bread and pasta. What you eat is a lot cleaner that way.

A cut up lemon freezes well, too, and cut into lemon crescents... - downward in segments- will defrost quickly; if you don't want to squeeze it out.
