That happened to me, too... a player w a white robe joined me thru the whole game... showed me all kinds of stuff I'd missed the first time around... turned out to be one of the game's developers... LOVE this game!!!
i used to play it on my dads old playstation and fell in love with it the same sort of thing happened to me! i was fascinated by this game and i’m hoping to play it again soon.
Yeah, a friend asked me how I got the white robe and I was like, I don't think I did... I was in the snow... Turns out, I don't think I got it... didn't know it was a thing. Can you get it on a 1st playthrough not with finishing the game first?
I met a white robe companion, who stuck it out with me through the whole journey. We even walked together side-by-side into the light where you're character goes into a sort of 'heaven' and the game ends. Just shows, even with one note for communication, you can still make great friends.
I kinda did that with another person too! Not the entire journey though but it was still fun! He/she got hit by those flying monsters (do they have a name) twice so they almost lost their entire robe... :(
Me too, except it was the other way around. I was the white robe. I waited for them, and they waited for me. I showed them the cool glyphs and where you could get the symbols. We even chirped at eachother in the air to get both of us to fly longer. It truly is a great experience. I bought it a few days ago, and I'm already a level four white cloak. XD When I told some of my friends that you chirped to communicate, and they were confused, wondering why there isn't a chat box. I told them that actions speak louder than words.
Actually the fps industry in gaming is one of the smaller ones, they're just more popular and get more attention. But I do agree that there should be more games like this.
@Steven Of course... That's why it was one of PS3's best selling games when it came out, and why it's still high on the list... Because people hate it. Sit down Steve.
I felt very lonely when I got hit behind of the monster 2 times in the snow level and when trying to move camera around, I didn't see my companion. I thought the companion left me when I can't see him anywhere. I tried to find him, but after a while I saw someone stand waiting for me. It is my companion. This game is super awesome!
I remember playing this game a long time ago. During the end of the game, my companion and I traced hearts in the snow. He also helped me clip out of the map so I could see hidden things. He was awesome.
Just noticed something incredibly cool: in the cut-scene just before the snow mountains, the epic panoramic mural depicting your journey actually changes depending on if you played alone or with a companion! I finished the game alone (and eventually became a white robe, alone) due to bad internet connection and I was depicted as this lone figure who braved all the trials of the journey by oneself...and when I saw the mentor being depicted on the mural in this video, I was so sad, I wanted a guide and a teacher! I need to fix the internet! I am a white robe now, I can be a mentor!
This might be late but.. I'll say it anyways. No other game will be like Journey. The atmosphere is breath taking, the anonymous co-op is literally heart breaking. Even thought I don't have a PS3 or any kind of console besides the poor Wii, I will still have a place in my heart for this one of a kind game. The adventure at the beginning, the excitement of your new meeting of your companion, and the sad ending. But it just proves what an anonymous co-op can do. Such people like Gothmog84 will never be forgotten. And just because two strangers met. It's really beautiful, really. I wish I had a Ps3. I just wish that. I would play the hell out of this game and I would enjoy every minute of it. I would even try and help other peeps. Anyway. I hope this game remains popular for years to come. Ps3 will still be owned by some people. At least this game to be remastered to the latest technology we will have there. Long story short, this game is amazing and should be played for all eternity, until civilization gives up and dies. Herp derp.
You put my thoughts into words. That aspect of the game itself makes it so much more emotional and beautiful to play. The unique and strong sense of companionship throughout the game with anonymous players really gives it such a distinctive sense of empathy. And the fact that you communicate through a special sound and develop a pattern/rhythm that you and your partner understand -- god! I love it so much. I love the feeling that it gives people. What a lovely game. You end up remembering your companion and how they helped you. And it all boils down to such basic methods of communication, too.
dang this comment is old! crazy though that I was thinking about journey recently thank u fellas for the new game recommendation, will check it out for sure!! Have a good one 👊
played through for the first time I met someone along the way after the second area and we played through the whole game we stuck side by side at one point I even fell off a cliff near the last level and I had to climb back up I was actually scared he left me but he was right there waiting I never knew a game could create such a emotional impact on you I genuinely felt alone and scared when I lost site of him and when I found him I was so happy
i played this game today for the first time and i completed it.i met a guy in the ruins with those robots snakes things, and i completed the game with him/her.i've never felt so attached to player online, this game brought me a little smile.
I like how the person not only helped you find your way, but also knew when to just sit back and let you find out how to do something on your own. Awesome guide, the person and the video.
I like how the game seamlessly loops. The cutscene shown in the background of the credit roll shows a shooting star flying through the game world, eventually getting back to the point the player spawned in when the game began. It then transitions into a sunrise scene, which in turn is actually the title screen for the game. If you choose to begin the game again, the intro cutscene shows the exact same shooting star transforming into the player character. Then the game will still play as normal, unless you have the white robe; gameplay is slightly different when you have the white robe (the energy needed to fly will regenerate, the flying itself has been noticeably upgraded, and you will already have the scarf before you get to the point of the game where you encounter your first symbol).
It's an old game I know and I am an old guy lol. I am a white robe with all the trophies except companion I was waiting for someone at the beginning to complete the journey with. I found one player and I guided him not only to unlock the white robe but all the trophies out there, took me with him 5 hours. We kinda built a relationship and it was amazing that you don't know the race, gender or age of the player. Just giving help makes you feel good as a human being. Anyways at the summit, we lost each other. And I didn't get the companion trophy since we didn't finish it together. I didn't care about that. I was sad and emotional as we lost each other lol. We as human need to learn a lesson from this game.
I ended with 8 different companions. I honestly didn't realize they were real people. I was a bit shocked about it in a way. I'm not sure how you keep the same companion the whole way, unless I or most of my companions went on without the other most of the time. Best "free" game I've ever played since I got it in September from PS Plus. But I'd buy the disc version in a heartbeat.
I managed to get my white robe without looking at any video, i was really lucky, because i found a white robe kind enough to guide me through all the glyphs (even if i missed only 3 of them) And at the end of the game, i sent him/her a message, to thank him/her for the beautiful experience we had together. This is one of the most beautiful game i've ever played, pure poetry, pure beauty, an experience everyone should have.
I love how this guy is helping you and looking like he's having an absolute blast while doing it XD This was some true companionship right here :') This made me cry harder then the traveler going alone......
This is not only about a trip but what we have during the trip. We have a mix of culture, history and literature. The filosophy about arriving the mountain; the ruins; the painting on the walls; the symbol of the desert and the winter - "the winter of life" -; broken bonds and war; beggining-finish-rebirth; etc. Finally, the companions, in a more and more individualist world. The game is fantastic and I realize it sensitizes a lot of people who play it. I've been playing it several times and each trip is a new trip, even I know all the stuffs that are hidden, all the ways, everything lol Sorry about my "Portuguese English", these are words of a learner lol.
I only just realized this, but the Enlightenment/Ascension phase follows the same path as the journey itself: beginning, bridge path, sliding with your cloth brethren, floating up the "seaweed" cloth, ascending the tower with "jellyfish" cloth, the steep climb, and then only the mountain and the lone snowy path remains..
that white flicker at the start that flies by like a shooting star could very well be another pilgrim much like yourself who just completed their own journey.
I just thought of this: What if each of these creatures is born from one of the stars in the sky? Because if you look around at 46:34 you can see that what I assume to be stars have their own individual symbol, like the symbol that appears above you when you make the chiming sound. And whenever one of the people reach the end of their journey, a star falls out of the sky and creates another person. Plus, you can also see at around 8:40 that it looks like their world might have been born from the stars in the first place, so I'm thinking that might have something to do with it. I could be wrong, though, but I really like this idea.
i was a white robe wandering around, it excited me when i see a non white robe, i've helped alot of players get their white robes. this game is awesome, but the best one was when i met with another white robe, we flew the entire game haha so cool.
+Rey Cinco I was only able to help one other player to get their white robe so far. I always want to lead them through the whole pink desert to free all the flying carpets and to find the flower, but most run off somewhere in the middle of it. I'm glad the white robe in the video showed the short way to just get the scarf pieces, now I can give the red robes I meet the short tour ;) I'd love to meet another white robe and just fly!
haha this game proves that peace on earth is possible. We help one another in the game, no questions, no care of race, sexual orientation, or anything....it's AWESOME!!
I remember going on a full journey with this one guy, we got along so well and made shapes in the snow. After this, we forgot to friend each other. Miss you man
I know this is a super old video, which makes my experience even more cool. I literally just started this game and on my 2nd playthrough, a white robe joined me and showed me EVERYTHING. We spent 2 and a half hours together, completed the whole game from start to finish, even waited for him for 5 minutes while he took a small break. He got me every trophy I needed and showed me some really cool outside the map glitches, and how to get back inside the map lol. Awesome dude and for a veteran at the game, he really didn't need to spend an entire session with me, but thanks for the Journey my new friend ;)
This is my absolute fave of all Journey walkthroughs/gameplays because in other playthroughs they often know what to do, when to do it and how to do it. But you made small mistakes and going on this journey, learning from the mistakes feels more personal and the white robe that was so helpful and patient just made me feel like believing in humanity a little more again. Thank you so much for this!
Those big pieces of rock laying all over containing the red slips of cloth that you free from them.... Those are totally segments of the beasts that appear and try to eat you halfway through the game. Which means those pieces of cloth are the souls of your brethren that have been eaten and trapped and you go around freeing them. I wonder where the giant beasts came from, who built the ruins, were you're people the original inhabitants? I don't know... Thoughts?
Around 36mins in there's a cutscene and i assume what this cutscene implies is that there was an argument leading to the hooded guys to split and fight one another on those serpent dragon thingies.... although idk tbh, just an idea
Those are cloth whales inside stone bodies, they were used as war machines when the white robed guys split into two cultures and started fighting over the cloth. Also, they don't try to eat you, they try to cut off your scarf, and somewhat, kill you.
Exportionist in my interpretation, the travelers (as I'm calling them) were created by the mountain that reaches the stars, along with many other cloth creatures. Eventually, the cloth they depended on to survive... Had a shortage, leading to a war over the cloth. Both sides began to create the guardians (the monsters) which would capture and defend cloth, unfortunately, the travelers were also made of cloth... So the guardians ended up killing them all. Thousands of years later, the mountain creates a second generation of travelers, although lesser in numbers, these are the players, and so the journey begins!
If u pay attention, at the end of the open desert level, where u climb the 2 towers, the machinery in the second tower is MAKING the stone creatures, assumably from the trapped cloth creatures.
Nice video! I've had this game on my PS3 for four years, and I still play it!!! As a matter of fact, I played it this afternoon, helped a Red Robe and felt so good I just wanted to watch other people's playthrough so I found yours, very cool You should make another one where you guide a Red Robe and help find all the paintings, the symbols, the Flower in the desert, the creature from Flow, and even how to cross the bridge without building it. I'm sure it could be awesome! ;)
I DREAD the day when they stop online play of this game.... will that... can that happen? secondly I DREAD THE DAY NOONE JOINS ME BECAUSE NOOONE IS PLAYING ANYMORE... :O(
this longplay is a real treat for gaming enthusiasts. It's a comprehensive and immersive experience that captures the essence of the game.. It's wonderful to see fellow gamers sharing their thoughts, memories, and experiences related to the game. The sense of nostalgia and camaraderie created by longplay videos is truly special. I love how you're games. even if they're hard sometimes.
Thanks it was great to find someone who repected the grandeur of this game and did'nt talk all the way thru. Just saw it mentioned again by IGN as their game of the year, don't have a PS, so thx for the vid:D liked.
Just finished it. This game is adorable! Amazing soundtrack and visuals. I love the varying levels of connection and struggle with that around you, not to mention seeing anonymous other players and helping each other here and there. AMAZING audio. You don't know what's happening when it starts but you start testing buttons..Ok this one makes a sound and this is important. It just takes off from there and things just resonate flawlessly. Well done to the developers. Truly beautiful. The best "lazy" game ever made imo. EDIT: I can't believe you are making the tune to communicate at 43.20. Awesome.
I agree this is a beautiful "lazy" game. I actually think Alto's Adventure on iOS is even "lazier" with the same aesthetic but it never gets as deep or emotional as Journey. This truly has an amazing story that can't be beat.
I have just ordered this game off eBay collectors edition can’t wait to play it, I’ve watched all the gameplay and wow this game is amazing never played these type of games. I hope that ppl still play online and that I meet a companion to travel along with. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
This game brings people together in the game and when you finished the game it's hard to leave the other player but the game does give you their name at the end!
BEST JOURNEY WALK THRU GO NOEHERE Else! I HAVE ALSO beat this Game 50 PLUS TIMES...and I too take people around and help them get there white robes! lol THANK YOU! Liked & Subscribed!
I didn't use this as a guide at first, I just wanted something to watch while I picked out certain songs for a special playlist. But I really got into it about half way through and I'm probably gonna use it later, and thank you for making this!!!!!
I played this game today on PS4. I wanted to record the journey for first time so I streamed on Twitch. There was a single viewer on my stream and he/she helped me through the journey. This person was guiding me through chat and was there until the very end. I met few people in game without realising they are real person until almost at the end. When I lead the other person on top of the snow mountain and we were dying in cold I was petrified. I thought I lead us to wrong place. Then I reincarnate and went to the heaven or the very last stage and then I saw the other person again and I was so so happy. We made beautiful chirping noises and messed around riding big whale shaped creatures. At the end when we were walking towards the light my companion was keep stopping. I was stopping too but was more curious to see what happens next so I was rushing a bit and then the journey finishes. I think my companion was stopping to communicate some kinda message which I regret it now but I got his or her psn so I’ll try to message later and say thanks. My stream viewer was saying it was beautiful to see finishing journey two person because he/she finished four times alone. Anyway, thank you viewer! You were my white robe guide. And thanks to my companion. I’ll play this game many many time and will try to help and seek new friendship through this. Wonderful
AMAZING! Played this over a year ago and just now doing a second walkthrough decided to youdtube it just to see what was out there so glad I did, never heard of a white robe cant wait to follow your video step by step; thanks so much for posting. One of the greatest games I've ever played so serene yet compelling what a unique and wonderful experience I wonder if they have released anything similar?
Jacob Michael They released Flower before this. That is where I think they built the flying mechanic used in this game (IMO). I have not played it but what I have seen of it looks just as peaceful as Journey but without the depth.
i rate this game 20/20 just awsome. played it long ago and still. never get tired of it.there is another games that looks like that imean the same universe that reminds me of Journey its called MONUMENT VALLEY on Android/IOS and its awsome too. i recomand it
damn its really nice that people who have 100%ed the game come onto new players journeys to help them out in getting cool stuff, it shows how nice of a community a small game like this can have :)
Thanks for this, really enjoyed it. Played this evening and sadly by the time that I met a White Robe I had missed a few glyphs, so my ascension was impossible = ( On the plus side, he took me to a different lower area that you missed in the large flooding chamber also surrounded by hanging tapestries whereby you get the "History" trophy by meeting the creature from flOw. Next time, White Robe for me ! = )
I played this today and my companion and me kept on walking side by side, waiting for each other and at the snow level, we kept on pressing the o button (I'm on PS4 btw) AMAZINGGGG GAMEEE!
if i hadnt sold my PS3 i would do what they did at 17:00 i loved this game and played through it and got the white robe becuase of someone like gothmog84 :D so happy i remmeberd this game
Same happened to me twice today, 2 different white robes walked me through. I thought they were the same person at first, but they had different playing styles. Does anyone else, finish the game and immediately started again?
Ahh.. the memories of the time i played this, was even lucky enough to get a red companion for a while, although sadly he disappeared on the sunken city a bit before the giant "whales" appear (which kinda made it all the more heartbreaking haha) I wish i had my ps3 around, although sadly studying away form home has its problems. Never even knew of the white robe, guess i got something to do when i come back for christmas
I started my Journey alone and about a quarter way in a door opened and another player came out. They helped me a little and we walked together. He was cool & patient with me. Showing me what to do. We spoke with our calls. It was beautiful! Suddenly..he was gone. I looked around and bellowed my notes. Calling out .. My musical calls weakened until I stood alone in a windy desert...sad. Yeah..that was hard.
Thanks so much! The game is so beautiful and the atmosphere is so relaxing it is hard to not feel calm and happy while playing it. It is almost a type of meditation.
Journey is a fantastic game. My playthrough three days agonwas a unique one. It was a normal one until I found someone else playing the game. I followed the stranger. When I saw the guardians I was scared out of my mind. But the stranger guided me through it. When I got to the snow level, we communicated through musical notes and when my partner died, I almost cried. I wanted to heal him/her up. But then I collapsed. Couldn’t do anything. But then the White Robe people pulled a Black Panther with the final climax of the movie and I was revived. But I couldn’t find my buddy. When I made it to the heavens thing, there he was. Sending me musical notes. Walking in circles in celebration. And so did I. I was happy with the ending. (But kinda confused like I was with the ending of Your Name) That was my experience of Journey. It was a fun one. Currently trying to unlock the white robe.
Another player and i helped each other climb up amazingly high in one level. We powered each other’s flight and we were so out of bounds it was amazing. Then we parted ways but i never forgot
7 years late for the party like always, but whatever. Right now I feel so many emotions that I can't even tell what I'm feeling, and that says a lot for someone with alexithymia (emotional blindness). Only two or three games including this one, that ever achieved that. I hope it's OK that I shared this video (with credit of course)
@@HBDiniz10 Sorry that I didn't reply earlier, but UA-cam gave me no notification of this reply (again). In case you haven't looked it up yourself yet: alexithymia means that you have trouble noticing, recognizing and categorizing emotions. I don't know all that much about it or how typical my case in particular is, but in my case I have trouble feeling positive emotions. Like, most of the time I'm either feeling something negative (anger, sadness...) or nothing at all.
Whenever I play this I always use the right stick to manipulate the camera to get some beautifull cinematic angles, plus I never rush but always indulge in the ennviroment and atmosphere and the music.
Thanks for taking the time to go all the way through. I am very excited you enjoyed it! It is an absolutely amazing game and since it is a PSN game you could play it on PS4 if you are planning on getting one.
This is the most beautiful game I think I have ever seen. I really appreciate how respectful you were of the game itself. Question..can you only have one companion with you during your journey?
MsSneekyNinja Yes. Just the one companion at a time. Should that person leave the game then another may well join you. So you could end up playing through with several companions joining and leaving along the way.
+Mai Nguyen kim If no one joins you, or you are not online, then you journey alone :) ...... However now its out on PS4 you will most probably have a companion. If you still find you are alone, just hang around in the bridges bit and wait with your invisible fingers crossed for a friend to come along.
I will do this over the weekend. My TV is busted right now but it will be fixed in a few days. It is really cool hearing all the other people that have been joined by white robes! I love this game!
yea a white really robed companion guided me to all the trophy unlocks but I have to wait a week for the last one because that's is required to 100% the game, I did appreciate the other player helping me in this awesome game but I still haven't got the white robe yet.
Yes it is! One of the most amazing games I ever played. I wish it would have won game of the year, I think that would caused great progression in the games industry. Still a really great example outside of the status quo though.
That happened to me, too... a player w a white robe joined me thru the whole game... showed me all kinds of stuff I'd missed the first time around... turned out to be one of the game's developers... LOVE this game!!!
Jesse B That is one of the best experiences I have heard.
That is why I wish to have this game ssoooooo bad xD
i used to play it on my dads old playstation and fell in love with it the same sort of thing happened to me! i was fascinated by this game and i’m hoping to play it again soon.
@@ManyTooNames is $4.04 now in ps store
@BMO can you help me with the robe
Ugh the closest I got to white robe was being covered in snow
Yeah, a friend asked me how I got the white robe and I was like, I don't think I did... I was in the snow... Turns out, I don't think I got it... didn't know it was a thing. Can you get it on a 1st playthrough not with finishing the game first?
Alex Hernandez then almost dying (or dying idk)
seibervideo u can
Lmao
My favourite 'Journey' was with a companion I was paired with from Finland. We messaged each other after the game was over, and still chat to this day
That's so cool
Awesome, do you two still chat now?
Honestly, not as much, few times a year just to touch base.
I met a white robe companion, who stuck it out with me through the whole journey. We even walked together side-by-side into the light where you're character goes into a sort of 'heaven' and the game ends. Just shows, even with one note for communication, you can still make great friends.

How do you get a person to join your journey?
+Midnight Star//The Purple Piano You get randomly paired.
+A Lopez The more I knooooooow 🎵🎵🎵
Me too, except it was the other way around. I was the white robe. I waited for them, and they waited for me. I showed them the cool glyphs and where you could get the symbols. There needs to be more games like this and less games like call of duty

I came from future to tell u thatgamecompany has made a game develop from journey call Sky: children of light available for ios. Worth to try out
One word: *SKY* ( another game from that game comany)

I'm not sure how you keep the same companion the whole way, unless I or most of my companions went on without the other most of the time. Best "free" game I've ever played since I got it in September from PS Plus. But I'd buy the disc version in a heartbeat.
@@lilguava70 uh... what?
I managed to get my white robe without looking at any video, i was really lucky, because i found a white robe kind enough to guide me through all the glyphs (even if i missed only 3 of them)
And at the end of the game, i sent him/her a message, to thank him/her for the beautiful experience we had together.
I've been playing it several times and each trip is a new trip, even I know all the stuffs that are hidden, all the ways, everything lol
Sorry about my "Portuguese English", these are words of a learner lol.
+Aynessa Valerion I never noticed that! Good Eye!
that white flicker at the start that flies by like a shooting star could very well be another pilgrim much like yourself who just completed their own journey.
This game gave me chills. I lost my job last week (lay off) and had been feeling really down in the dumps. This game gave me another way of thinking.

@seibervideo Hope you found something.
al this time and still touches my nerves
10/10 Not enough crying
I'm glad the white robe in the video showed the short way to just get the scarf pieces, now I can give the red robes I meet the short tour ;)
I'd love to meet another white robe and just fly!
Its Nixe that After such a Long time this Game is still played that activ.
+Julian “Phenex” Michel agreed, it means that I can still play coop. :D
A game that has touch my heart and I can only hope in the future there be more games like this
I just bought and beat this game today and I enjoyed every minute of it. This game is a true masterpiece.
glad you like it
Yeah I would love to see more ingenuity like this in video games!
scribble71891 I 100% agree!
wise words from a wise man
haha this game proves that peace on earth is possible. We help one another in the game, no questions, no care of race, sexual orientation, or anything....it's AWESOME!!
Allahu Ackbar you bitch
well that's just rude and offensive to me.
no scores, no leaderboards, no killing each other, no insults.
Just walking with music

Thanks man, that was a truly amazing experience to watch. Whenever you lost sight of your white robed friend a part of me started to panic inside.
same. what a great friendship that was.
I remember going on a full journey with this one guy, we got along so well and made shapes in the snow. After this, we forgot to friend each other. Miss you man
Wonderful experience.
Literally right when i clicked on this video a guy in a white robe decided to help me
Same. It's nice to see that people are still playing these days.
This game does something to people when they connect through it. It's an amazing experience.
As a matter of fact, I played it this afternoon, helped a Red Robe and felt so good I just wanted to watch other people's playthrough so I found yours, very cool
You should make another one where you guide a Red Robe and help find all the paintings, the symbols, the Flower in the desert, the creature from Flow, and even how to cross the bridge without building it. I'm sure it could be awesome! ;)
This is awesome! I love Journey and the fact that you get to help other players out in their own journey.
I DREAD the day when they stop online play of this game.... will that... can that happen? secondly I DREAD THE DAY NOONE JOINS ME BECAUSE NOOONE IS PLAYING ANYMORE... :O(
I hope this never has to happen!
If it makes you feel better I just completed my 3rd playthrough LUL 6 Years later LUL
this longplay is a real treat for gaming enthusiasts.
This was extremely helpful. Thank you very much for posting it.
BEST JOURNEY WALK THRU GO NOEHERE Else! I HAVE ALSO beat this Game 50 PLUS TIMES...and I too take people around and help them get there white robes! lol
THANK YOU! Liked & Subscribed!
Thanks so much for sharing!
I didn't use this as a guide at first, I just wanted something to watch while I picked out certain songs for a special playlist. But I really got into it about half way through and I'm probably gonna use it later, and thank you for making this!!!!!
So glad I could help. Thank you for watching.
Wonderful
That's an amazing experience! Thank you for sharing it with us.
Epic MEGA Gameplay! Thanks dude.
this is one of the most beautifull videos I've seen. Nice one.
As if the game wasn't already beautiful enough. This was amazing. Thanks for sharing
My pleasure! Thank you so much for watching.
You forgot about yellow flower into pink desert and flow in the tower before snow area (the flow you find after pick up of all life water).
Really? What are those?
look for these needle in a haystack :). Play with somebody who wear a white coat. He(she) will help you. Greetings
Thanks for the tip! I will totally do that!
i rate this game 20/20 just awsome. played it long ago and still. never get tired of it.there is another games that looks like that imean the same universe that reminds me of Journey its called MONUMENT VALLEY on Android/IOS and its awsome too. i recomand it
I totally plan on playing Monument Valley! it looks amazing!
damn its really nice that people who have 100%ed the game come onto new players journeys to help them out in getting cool stuff, it shows how nice of a community a small game like this can have :)
Thanks for this, really enjoyed it.
Played this evening and sadly by the time that I met a White Robe I had missed a few glyphs, so my ascension was impossible = (
On the plus side, he took me to a different lower area that you missed in the large flooding chamber also surrounded by hanging tapestries whereby you get the "History" trophy by meeting the creature from flOw.
Next time, White Robe for me ! = )
Gonna try and get this game even tho it is really short, it sure worth it to have it in any collection!
Thank you!
Thank you and GOTHMOG84 for your long past journey.
Thank you for watching.

so relaxing through headphones. will try this later. thanks for uploading
I DONT CARE I THIS VIDEO IS OLD
...I'm fucking crying....
I played this today and my companion and me kept on walking side by side, waiting for each other and at the snow level, we kept on pressing the o button (I'm on PS4 btw) AMAZINGGGG GAMEEE!
It is amazing how such little communication can be so significant.
if i hadnt sold my PS3 i would do what they did at 17:00 i loved this game and played through it and got the white robe becuase of someone like gothmog84 :D so happy i remmeberd this game
Same happened to me twice today, 2 different white robes walked me through.
I thought they were the same person at first, but they had different playing styles.
Does anyone else, finish the game and immediately started again?
Ahh.. the memories of the time i played this, was even lucky enough to get a red companion for a while, although sadly he disappeared on the sunken city a bit before the giant "whales" appear (which kinda made it all the more heartbreaking haha)
I wish i had my ps3 around, although sadly studying away form home has its problems. Never even knew of the white robe, guess i got something to do when i come back for christmas
That's the spirit lol
Love how your Companion was constanly whistling to make your scarf full so you can fly longer
Yes! My companion was very skilled. I was very fortunate and grateful.
it like yall talking to each other
Thank you so much for your help man hot my white rope and now I shall guide my new buddies just as he did to you.
It was nice to have a player to guide you with the collectables
Yeah it was so great.
there are random Travellers in the Credits!
best walkthrough of this game . its my 5th time watching . Thank You
Thank you so much for watching.
I'm not a gamer. I'm actually here because Oscric Chau appeared in an SPN con wearing this costume. That makes me want to buy PS3.
That was great :) The smiley face you drew in the sand :)
That is so cool. I love the dynamics of game so much. :D
Yup! One of the most amazing games I have ever played!
I actually had a white rove help me along the way just now too. Thanks dude. whoever you were. fusronah
I love this game to the max wen I got it I couldent stop playing
I started my Journey alone and about a quarter way in a door opened and another player came out. They helped me a little and we walked together.
He was cool & patient with me. Showing me what to do.
We spoke with our calls.
It was beautiful!
Suddenly..he was gone. I looked around and bellowed my notes. Calling out ..
My musical calls weakened until I stood alone in a windy desert...sad.
Yeah..that was hard.
Beautiful even when it is sad.
Thanks a lot. I followed the walkthrough and unlocked the white robe.
So glad it helped! Such an amazing experience!
Yes! So glad you experienced it for yourself.
Another player and i helped each other climb up amazingly high in one level. We powered each other’s flight and we were so out of bounds it was amazing. Then we parted ways but i never forgot
That's incredible. I never even thought of that.
That's awesome that you met a white robe 🎉 I can't wait to become one myself 👍
7 years late for the party like always, but whatever.
Right now I feel so many emotions that I can't even tell what I'm feeling, and that says a lot for someone with alexithymia (emotional blindness).
Only two or three games including this one, that ever achieved that.
I hope it's OK that I shared this video (with credit of course)
Sorry for my ignorance but what is alexithymia? I'm just curious
Never too late for this amazing experience. Look how well it holds up against games that are out now.
@@EpicMegaGamePlay Well, it is on the to-do list. But the list is pretty long. So it's going to take a while.
@@HBDiniz10 Sorry that I didn't reply earlier, but UA-cam gave me no notification of this reply (again).
In case you haven't looked it up yourself yet:
alexithymia means that you have trouble noticing, recognizing and categorizing emotions.
When I was playing journey I heard someone else,I think but when I did the circle thingy it was hard to not sound like the music in the background.😂
I love how you went with him in the end!
So touching :-)
Did nobody else get this masterpiece in their recommended just now?
Splendid synchronized playing!
Thanks for making the video. :D
I love this game! Even though I already have a white robe, I enjoyed this a lot! Can't wait to see more from you.
Thanks for taking the time to go all the way through. I am very excited you enjoyed it! It is an absolutely amazing game and since it is a PSN game you could play it on PS4 if you are planning on getting one.

Excellent! So glad I could help. I felt very fortunate to have been lead to it and really wanted to pay it forward.
Amazing! I am definitely going to buy this game!
Did you?
This is the most beautiful game I think I have ever seen. I really appreciate how respectful you were of the game itself. Question..can you only have one companion with you during your journey?
MsSneekyNinja Yes. Just the one companion at a time. Should that person leave the game then another may well join you. So you could end up playing through with several companions joining and leaving along the way.
What if there is no players left to play?
+Mai Nguyen kim If no one joins you, or you are not online, then you journey alone :) ...... However now its out on PS4 you will most probably have a companion. If you still find you are alone, just hang around in the bridges bit and wait with your invisible fingers crossed for a friend to come along.
I will do this over the weekend. My TV is busted right now but it will be fixed in a few days. It is really cool hearing all the other people that have been joined by white robes! I love this game!
Call me nuts but this game gave me goosebumps all the way.
Crepeaubacon crepaubacon You're nuts. xD And so am I. :P
Thanks I am in the water part and lost so at this point I think I may start over with this vid!🥰
Awesome. So glad more people are out there sharing this experience.
nice ! Thank you for this full walkthrough, I had a hard time having the full scarf, now that's going to be easy (;
Greatest game i have ever played.
yea a white really robed companion guided me to all the trophy unlocks but I have to wait a week for the last one because that's is required to 100% the game, I did appreciate the other player helping me in this awesome game but I still haven't got the white robe yet.
that's beautiful, i must practice a lot to become a white robe, so that i can guide others.so beautiful. your partner is so caring.
Yes it is! One of the most amazing games I ever played. I wish it would have won game of the year, I think that would caused great progression in the games industry. Still a really great example outside of the status quo though.
I couldn't stop smiling watching this
I love comments like this. Thank you!
Just so glad we were able to help! Glad you enjoyed it!
Watched the full 1:28:02, not a single boring bit. I'm in love with this game, which is cruel because I don't have a PS3 :(
In all the Journey videos I've seen on UA-cam all the commenters are such nice people.
Thank you! Me and my friend is playing right now and this was really helpfull! Thanks again!
