I hope that my support for both Jacob Geller and PMG on Patreon will lead to a collab in which Jacob Geller uses the brand new PMG zipline, while bringing along the author of my favorite short story collection Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah who he happened to introduce me too, and then PMG end up back in Estonia and they all talk about Disco Elysium. Tried to fit enough references in there
Recent fan to channel following the Disco Elysium video but loved diving in & out of the content and kudos to the brilliant animations/artwork (special mention to the "Gandhi Civ" stop animation work).
I'm sure you'll be able to tell this from the timing of when people sign up, but I just wanted to say, this video worked on me! I watched it and went "oh hey, why am I not subscribed to them yet?" And I'm on my way to sign up now. Thanks for all the great content you make
you simply inspired us to do what we do in our channel. we want to be similar to People Make Games but in Spanish. Your work is THAT important us. Simply thanks. I will become a patron next month
I've been looking at my subscriptions.. seeing what I can cull.. Patreon (thus, yall) was on the chopping block.. but ya'll are just too good. Really love your work :)
Your work on the Disco Elysium developers was really helpful in informing me on such a dense and complicated issue. Mad respect to you for pursuing that endeavor.
I had to retract my patreon support because of money issues, but now that i've just received a nice bonus, i'm excited to throw my money at you again! love what you're doing and i especially love your independent games journalism. i'm not a gamer myself, but i love your stories!
lots of big gaming media outlets have taken a lot of L's this year but i believe there is a bright fiuture for gaming journalism ahead where we can get more independent journalism
Those stories were heavy and probably some of the hardest, but they were very much needed. You guys are doing the kind of journalism gaming desperately needs more of, and I hope you keep doing it for years to come.
Your artists drawings and graphics are amazing she really brings the videos to life in a very visually engaging way big props to her and people like her who do all that special work that rarely gets to have a face or name put to it ❤
Patreon since last month, it's the first time I had enough money to support you. Did not get in the bonus stuff yet, just happy to support your stuff that is available to all!
I've been living outside of the UK for like 9 months living in China and more than anything this video made me miss home lol. Having been hiking just by those ziplines and been rained on in a service station, I think I have to be a patron now!
just subscribed and honestly y'all are doing great things and im really interested - this is the kind of stuff I want to do one day :) y'all's passion shows. You work hard and you care about the stories you wanna tell. Exciting to see what else y'all do !
This really reminds me of how important your videos have been. I feel like the coverage of Valves involvement in betting is really important, especially when teenagers are involved. Has any larger media institutions picked it up and pressured Valve about it? I also really appreciated both the Excel video (I use Excel a lot in my work) and the Disco Elysium video. Thank you!
Keep up the phenomenal work team. Your content and presentation really shines on a platform that is so highly saturated with gaming content. I hope you can keep producing stand out content long into the future ✌️
I didn't know it was so bad to have equality with super villains for Every Man villain there should be a woman villain 5:45 also I don't know if making a spreadsheet of every character in the game was the intent of the Developers just remember they probably made a story and that created characters for the story and each story is different like what if there was a story where Hitman had to kill a cult of women trying to blow up a sports Stadium
absolutely ludicrous that youtube didnt notify me until two hours after the upload, even though I have the bell as rung as it can be. Im disgusted if youtube is going to try to bury this for no reason
Same! Plus I've just realised I haven't had most of their videos from the last year recommended, only the Disco Elysium and excel ones - I had no idea what videos they were talking about until I went and checked their channel!
Thanks for all the awesome content you have done so far :) It has been a amazing journey. Not sure if this idea has already been given, but what about a positivie video? I wouldnt mind seeing some Larian Studio stuff and about the development process and rise of their new succes story, Baldurs Gate 3. Heard there is a interesting backstory with Larian.
I'm all for supporting independant journalism and this sort of incredible high effort content, but if you don't upload weekly hour-long vids of that dog getting love, treats and skritches.....we're gonna have serious problems.
Hey, just so you know, your captions are borked - they all show up as one chunk in the first second of the video, and don't show up throughout. Hopefully it's an easy fix! Edit: Looks like it resolved itself 😅
cant support but I can comment in the hopes of boosting interaction. Great video! video games, journalism, quality, gaming, interesting, loved it, enjoyable, wahoo!
I love most of your guys content but sadly I don’t think I’ll support directly monetarily because of how open your political beliefs are (this is totally your choice and I’m not criticizing). I’ve watched so many fantastic channels (this one included) change the direction of some their content towards being political and it makes the videos less fun to watch for me at least. Just wanted to mention it here in case one of you are interested in hearing a fans opinion
@@hafgrim I did not mean that literally. You are telling them to flat out not use things that are impossible to not use today. Bus service across the country are bad, trains almost don't exist. And the fulfilment of your unreasonable demand is that they get (at best) $30 dollars a month. That's straight up unreasonable.
I think their content is great, and the digging journalism is amazing. However, the gaming industry is simple not more important than tackling climate change, so then I'd rather invest my money in projects that try to help solve that problem not being part of the problem.
Well, if I wasn't on a fixed income, I would totally support you guys. So, I'll do what I can: share the videos on all my social media, like them, and comment. I'll also say thanks to all the people who do donate so that I can enjoy these amazing stories for free. Keep up the great work, y'all. It is appreciated. I'm looking forward to new videos.
I did walk (not climb) it a few years ago. There's this lovely little cafe right at the top that sells pasties?! #1 best location I've ever purchased a baked good. -Chris
Hi team - What type of one off donation give YOU the biggest share of my input? I'm not able to support Patreon unfortunately, but I'm still very keen to show financial support.
I hope that my support on patreon can buy PMG their very own zipline one day
Hey Jacob!

hey jacob!
Who wouldn't want a zipline from their house to the nearest Gregs?
Best of luck team. I hope the funding drive goes well and dog morale improves!
lmao for a split second I was surprised to see a BP station ("wow you guys have those in your country too??") and then I remembered what BP stands for
0:55 🎉 Congrats on five MILLION subscribers.
Implied: if you're a subscriber to PMG, your subscription is worth, roughly, 11 times more than that of a regular UA-cam user. Mind-boggling stuff
@@WezzethNo, most PMG subscribers are regular. Subscriber Georg, who is worth 4.5 million subscriptions, is an outlier and should not be counted.
How Quinns finds the energy to do PMG and SU&SD is insane to me, but also wow what great folks
Quinns does like 5839393930 channels which is CRAZY

I like to imagine that Quinn was actually just cursing us out aggressively instead of giving story spoilers
It’s just a wasteland greeting from the Mojave.
Once I'm back on stable footing, I'll happily come back as a patron. I'm a big fan of your journalism.

People wouldn't actually hate on gaming journalism if a lot of it wasn't baiting for views
This channel is what proper gaming journalism should be

For a second when I first saw the thumbnail I thought you were a couple of LDS missionaries on bikes. Then I saw the helmets were cameras.
Ahhh nooo we were there a week ago and it was raining , we just drove off 😢
Thanks
It was a good idea/video! It got me to sub to Patreon :D
Thank you for doing great journalism!

I love supporting these people on patreon!

Happy and proud to have become a Patreon this past year! Keep on making loud and amazing news pieces!
Tunic always deserves more attention. maybe a producer episode or something about nostalgia?
The developer did a podcast about the game, go check it out if you want those kinds of details
Until Chris said "we rented" I genuinely thought "what the hell, who owns the Mini???" So *I* was wondering, Quinns
It's nice to see some genuine journalists in the limelight when there's so much disingenuous news.
