This is part of the rather epic-scale comparison I'm doing of "Spirit of Flight" from two different companies (Diamond Painting Deutschland and Diamond Art Club), each with distinct and very different approaches to charting and colors. The kit in this video is the DAC version.

I ordered a Josephine wall diamond painting yesterday, from Deutschland. I paid via PayPal. They didn’t have to send me and invoice or anything. It was pretty expensive though. With shipping, the total came out to $160. I purchased The Three Graces in round. Since so many people have bought a Josephine Wall, I wanted to have one two. I can’t wait to see you working on yours😀😀😀

I bought this too, but I’m really intimidated. I haven’t even opened it yet. I get burned out on squares really easy and my biggest square piece I’ve ever completed is a 57cm x 77cm, so this is much larger!! 😬
Just be ready to take plenty of breathers! Maybe have a small, round kit going at the same time, so you don't burn out or get frustrated. You can totally do it!! 💛

Less colours yes but it has ABs ! It will be interesting to see how they add to the final effect to this painting verses not having any on the other one .can’t wait
I pre-ordered this on the restock and I’m so excited to get it! It should ship within these next couple days and I got the confirmation email which I think means I secured it. Last time I preordered something I didn’t get it so I’m crossing my fingers for this one🤞🏼 I just finished her Virgo piece for my sister and I loved it!

I was so sad when I went to pay the kit was yanked out of my cart.....but DPD and Uniquely Yours Down Under have the rendering so.......I may go to those companies! I'm obsessed with Josephine Wall! So glad you're doing this comparison!!! I only have Sagittarius from DAC and am itching to start it!!!

JW is not my style BUT I am super excited to watch this comparison process and this is a great piece to do it with.
This is going to be such a interesting project to see unfold side by side. At least the kitting up will be easier on this one, LOL.
Have fun doing it (don't burn yourself out), and if 2 canvas's of the same picture isn't enough at the end you can always do the HAED version of Spirit of Flight 😉😂
Oh gosh, I very briefly thought about adding in the HAED and/or Uniquely Yours Down Under versions, but I think I'm testing my sanity enough with these two 🤣 And then I actually had someone on IG comment on one of my posts and say that they have the HAED and UYDU versions, so we'll just compare when she finishes hers, too. Whew!

Looking forward to the comparison. I ordered a JW from DP Deutschland last year. It took almost 4 months to get here. So WOW on the delivery of your painting from them.
Yes!! They just recently (in the past month or two) changed their shipping method! My first kit from them, also last year like yours, took a few months to get to me too. I'm so glad they changed it!
I'd suggest getting some extra AB and adding them to the Deutchland one too.

I'm really excited to see both being worked on at the same time! I can understand the appeal of having so many colors to work with, but it also seems like it would make for a more cohesive and easy-to-read artwork with the smaller color palette. Eager to see what you think!

I would be lying if I said I hadn't considered getting the Uniquely Yours version of this kit with 100 colors to do a three-way comparison but...I think this will be enough, haha. Someone over on my IG did comment that they're going to complete the Uniquely Yours version, and we'll compare!

I love the quality of DAC kits but not a fan of their rendering I feel like it doesn’t give off the look the artist intends so I stick to their landscapes

Have you done any this large from DAC? How long do you think it will take you to finish? What will you do with it once it's completed?
I haven't completed one quite this large from DAC before, but some very close (or in different shapes, like really tall banners). I'm guessing that it'll take me a few months to complete this and the DPD version, especially because I may need to take a week off here and there, and I'll continue to ahve other kits going too. Once they're done and I've filmed post reviews, they'll get rolled up and stored away with the rest of my completed diamond paintings.

Awww, Rolled up and stored away? Don’t you ever display your paintings in your home? I plan to rotate my paintings so that I can enjoy them when they are completed.
