I love the way it looks all kitted up. I don’t know I guess I’m a weirdo, but it’s very satisfying to see all the labeled containers. LOL! Have fun doll. I am looking forward to seeing this finished.
Bahaha, not a timelapse fan, Randee? 🤣 To be fair, I rarely watch timelapse videos unless they're a really brief bit of a larger video. This one was super long. I loooove seeing all the neatly labeled containers too! I feel like it would have been even more satisfying if they'd ALL been Elizabeth Wards!
This was fun, to be honest I have been through this several times and watching hiw anither person kits up is interesting to me oddy I am I guess lol?? Awaiting the wedding with 325 colors! YIKES!! What do you think comparing Deutschland to Uniquely Yours?? Thank you awesome job and ideas 💡👏🙌😀
Would really love to know your comparison between Uniquely Yours Doen Under and Deutschland Josrphine Wall kits with max colors if you can?? Thank you so much 💓
You did really well. Took me 3 hours to kit up 66 colours then another 1.5 hours to re-kit because I had those pots where 4 are joined together, and I knew I wasn't going to get on with them. Can't wait to see how you get on with this beast!
I would've been hyperventilating!!! Too many colours for me!!! Working on my 5th painting and it's 100X50 cm with 30 colours. That I can deal with!!! Just kitting it that up is an accomplishment to be proud of!!! Wow!!! Take care and have fun!!! 🌈🦄🌈
I’ve discovered that I don’t love serious confetti, so I don’t think this type of project is in my future, but I enjoy watching other people tackle it! I’ll be excited to see you start on this one 😍
All those beautiful colors are neatly organized makes my OCD smile. I am living vicariously through you on this massive project, so kudos on such a great challenge! xoxo💜
Oh my gosh that is so satisfying to see all of them in a near row and laid out like that! 275 is massive and I'm still delaying properly kitting up my HAED 90 colors. I know I'm going to color coordinate it because it works for my brain but those like like symbols are so good. Wish you the best on this one! Can't wait to see it in a wip n chat eventually haha
Wow. You have more patience than I. No way I would do such an elaborate diamond panting twice. I do enjoy kitting up and kitting down. Just something satisfying about it. Thanks for sharing!
This is the most fantastical and terrifying thing I’ve ever seen at the same time! 😆🤣😆 I’ve become pretty comfortable working with 88 colors but I cannot imagine 275. You have got to have a great system down in order to have the patience to look for those colors. 🤞I am so looking forward to this journey! ~ Kel
Bahaha, fantastical and terrifying! 🤣 That seems like the perfect description for this project! And who knows? Maybe you'll be doing one of these someday too! Thanks, Kel 💛

I’ve been waiting for this!!! 🤩🥳 this video is so satisfying 💕🤩
OMG....I am scared. I just ordered mine last night and now I am having container anxiety. I don’t plan on starting mine ( I got Spirit of the Elements 100x80 round poured glue from Uniquely Yours Down Under) for awhile so I will slowly accumulate all the containers! Have you or anyone else seen a Josephine Wall done in rounds? I bought the mid size one, hoping that it won’t be blurry. It doesn’t seem as detail heavy ( ok it is ....but thinking all the colors will help out) as some of her other scenes but I have only seen squares being done. I am not that good ( too critical) with squares and with the size and amount of colors (200-225 I think) I wanted to be comfortable with rounds. I really appreciate these detail oriented videos because my mind works the same way! Have a great weekend!!
Diamond Painting Deutschland has Josephine Wall’s in rounds and squares. I prefer rounds as I’m pretty new to diamond paining and have struggled with squares. Recently, I bought J. Wall’s Pisces from DP Deutschland and got it in round drills. I’m scared and excited to get started on it, but want to strategically plan out the kitting up.
Hi friends! While I'm not positive that I've seen one completed in rounds, I do know that both "You Can Call Me Butter" and "Emeralds and Fairy Lights" (both have UA-cam channels and IG accounts) are working on JoWalls from Diamond Painting Deutschland in round drills. The detail, from what I've seen, is usually still pretty nice! I'd like to try one someday, too.
Wow...that was quite a job. I lived watching it. I would probably even love kitting if up. My mind works like that. I just don't know if I'd be willing to pay the type of money this kit costs and if I would have the stamina to actually complete it. I'm going to admire yours and watch you work on it. You did an amazing job kitting it up and it makes sense to me to work on it that way. Looking through 275 colors for a symbol you need would be too tedious to contemplate otherwise. Thank you so much for sharing!
Thanks so much Katie for another very informative video. I will be doing Aries from Diamond Painting Deutschland, probably in the new year, but I had a few ideas on how to best do it, your video helped immensely. I’m going to pencil in the group numbers on the inventory sheets so that I have a head start when it comes to kitting up.
Well done!!!! 👏👏👏👏I LOVE how your mind works! What a beautiful compact set up and really think your system of categorizing makes sense..Will be using this vid as a reference when kitting up my J.Wall. 💜💎💜
👍 Enjoyed this. Thankfully I enjoy kitting up because I have several large kits that have a lot of drills. I have been experimenting with containers and found some solutions that I’m hoping will work well. Thank you for ideas on the organization of the legend symbols. I hope that your organization works for you. Peace and love reside with you and yours.💕
This time lapse makes me happy ☺️😉. My brain works exactly like yours and I categorize all my symbols even on DAC kits!! This process seems fun to me…🤣
So I received my Spirit of Flight the same day you did (squares) and was surprised that DAC previewed the same painting that day. I also was missing 367 and emailed DPD. They were going to find a US seller and order from there. I looked at my sheets and saw that I only needed 111 of them and also just ordered from Diamond Drills USA. I stream and will be starting it tomorrow. Fun fact, if you order 2 paintings they charge you the shipping for one. Loved your video!
Woooowwww!! Great tips! Baggies drive me bonkers and they are always staticky, I feel. I'm grateful when I kit down, I can use those to store the remnants but not to work from. I'm glad the dryer sheets worked for you, thats good. Maybe I missed it, I'm at work, but did you then keep the dryer sheets in your containers? I did get the big Uniquely Yours version of this so I'm really excited to hopefully see how it compares to your 2. The dimensions are different so there will be some distinction. Anyway, back to work for me!
Hi friend! No, I actually didn't keep the dryer sheets in the containers. I didn't want to cut up that many pieces of dryer sheet. If any colors get static-y again in the containers, I'll add a bit of dryer sheet to the container itself. I'm so curious to see how the Uniquely Yours version turns out!
Wow that is quite the kit!!! I can’t imagine doing one with that amount of colors. Even my huge HAED canvas (160 x 190) doesn’t have that many colors. LOL. Not sure if I’ll ever get around to doing that one. Question for you through - rather than going by the symbol, could you go by the DMC code? That’s how I’ve always kitted mine up with the Elizabeth Ward containers and it works so well for me. But I know that everybody is different. Your setup looks great - now that it’s all finished. LOL.
Thank you, Lisa! You know, I actually tried doing my first JWall in DMC order, since that's how I work on basically every other kit (with the Elizabeth Ward containers, like you!) but for whatever reason, it just works better for my brain to have them organized by symbol and color.
Holy crap! 275 colors? Mine that I’m getting in the mail soon, is only 40 colors! Of course, I’m on my 3rd and I’m about to finish, so I’m newer, but the one I’m getting is humongous for me! Good job, to me you are so brave.
40 colors is still a lot! And congrats on your 3rd finish (or soon-to-be finish), and of course welcome to this ridiculously fun and addictive hobby! 💛
I have all the different types of containers that you have....but I haven't had to use them all on the same project.........yet 😂! Thank you for this journey. It's like a visual ASMR ..very pleasing somehow. Am I weird? Ok, we already know this😂

I think that what I learned from this video is that I don't want to do a kit that big! The painting that I'm working on now has 60 colors and that's big enough for me.

If you have, can you mention it in your next video (if you haven't already filmed it) I would be curious to see if you needed to make changes.
I always say that never says never... but me doing a kit with more than 90 colors... I really don’t think so... you are brave girl!!! But you already did a Kit of this style... so you have an idea of what to expect... And the idea of do the same kit from 2 companies!!! 😱😱😱 I never have done the same kit twice... but if you do this first and then the DAC you will feel that the DAC is so easy 🤣🤣🤣
@@DiamondsandWashi I just heard in one of your videos that your plan to do both together (section by section) for compare... 😱😱😱 i can’t imagine repeat the same Image twice... but definitely for your subscribers will be great to see both kits with the same areas done for compare!!! When I kit up any kit I organize by colors. It's easier for me when I work on sections I find that like colors are usually grouped together on the painting and therefore I already have that section of colors together for me to work with.
Have you ever put dryer sheets in the inside of your containers, the whole zip case? A sheet on the top and bottom of the container and if a double or plus between the layers? Just curious?
