Nice im 21 and always wanted to become a pilot so im working on starting these classes i have a flight school about 20 mins away and its in the same town that I work
You only need the student certificate to solo. They used to let you fly with just your 3rd class medical because it also served as a student certificate but now they give you a hard copy student license. You can still fly without the hard copy but only training with an instructor. You will need the hard copy to solo.
