They're bred companion dogs. You shouldn't even leave them alone for work. It's highly stressful for them, even when trained. You're their world as their human. They have an incredibly hard time without you. Absolutely no dog that will be fine with staying alone as a guard dog. But they'd do anything else for you.
Yes this is our dogs(only because we live under the same roof). My hubby leaves and a dark cloud falls under our roof. Nevermind I feed clean take to the Vets and buy their favorite treats. I’m lucky I get to sleep on the bed. Spoiled rotten puppies. I still Iove❤ them

For years I was the favorite for our animals, 2 dogs and 4 cats, then they passed away. Now we have just one cat and she obviously prefers my wife to me. That's Ok they enjoy a special bond. I am the 2nd choice around here now.
