- Bangladesh is under a nationwide curfew after weeks of protest turned violent. Military forces are now patrolling the streets of the capital Dhaka in a bid to restore calm. More than a hundred people have been killed in clashes with police. The government puts the blame for violence on the opposition. The unrest started after the government re-introduced limits on who has access to highly sought-after government jobs.

so basically they are not against the quota system but against the part of it where the government could use it to put loyalists in key positions?
Both, 1th all the reserved quota goes to loyalists 2nd the gov quota grants places to loyalists jobs of high profile, usually linked to ruling the country and grant the duration of this political line.
