Dude this is literally EXACTLY what I was looking for. thank you!! I saw someone run an excellent split screen where the camera was clearly filming from her Macbook while she wrote/taught/annotated on her iPad. Her face on the left side, full screen, from the macbook and iPad work on the right side. I think she was doing some kind of Airplay or Sidecar syncing thing between the two - couldn't figure it out. For now, this is an adequate workaround.

There are so many lousy tutorials of a myriad of things to do and setups to mimic, but it is not that frequent to find somebody who took the care to plan ahead the tutorial, be very clear in the explanation and , incidentally , find a very useful subject to explain. A hack that works perfectly
Great video. The app "Explain everything" has a function to add a video while explaining. If you select the front camera, you can paste a "picture in picture" window and more where you want in the screen and chance size. The con is that you have to write in the app board, but not much problem. It permits browser window etc.

Thx for the hack I also find out that you can turn off the wifi and the cam test still work so I guess you can have one thing less to worry about Privacy.

This doesn't really work for gaming.
Check out my channel, I have another tutorial for gaming using streamlabs and another streaming app, but you need 1000 subs for live stream from iPad or iPhone

You can record ⏺ on your iPhone separately and then AirDrop your video file to your iPad and edit on imovie.

@@s7a8i6f well one thing you should understand that any windows laptop after 2 years dont give same response as compared to what they give in their initial days, so in that case apple products will be much better. As your budget is 40-50K, ipad will be much better according to me because you can make ipad air 2019 with pencil and keyboard to form a mac setup. Why i am giving you this advice because you need to teach from ipad and if it is the priority. Ipad will be better

Have you (hopefully) found a way to do it with an online camera? It sure would be great for my granddaughters trying to make videos of them playing and voice over (which works already). But they want to add their face while voice over. Please?

@@BeardSquaredEdtech Thank YOU for this idea. I tried it for live-streaming the music production process and my face (by your method) on twitch. It was very fun but it didn't last long, as expected it might work with simpler tasks like you showed the notes+face. But in such stressful combination it managed to stream for 8 minutes maximum. I tested it for several times to be sure. Anyway, i just sharing my experience, and that you helped me a lot with this method. Thank you very much. It was fun))) i mean, on stronger iPads should work without issues. So technically method works. Once again. Your approach is genius!)
