Nice. looks like it would be pretty heavy to take to the beach but I'm sure sounds really good. I made a very crude suitcase speaker cab for my van, cause there was no place to mount the speakers. It sounds better than the door speakers. I've been collecting old suitcases for years. Maybe there is a market for them.
Oh there definitely is. There’s several fellow boombox enthusiasts you could find on IG (such as boomboxbaggage from Maryland) that do phenomenal work. I prefer working with repurposed wine/liquor boxes but did this one per a clients request (I love a challenge).
Funny you mention the beach. I’m at one as I write this. I took my Jameson 18 sample box. 2 years old and going strong. Small and loud enough for what I need it for. Completely sealed unit. What is the red board? Pre amplifiers?
Is the subwoofer Dayton audio also and do u have the approximate cost for all the speakers and amp.i order alot of stuff from parts express.im looking to do something like this.thanks
