Sure but that game cost $300million and 6-7 years to make with 1,000 full time employees at one point working on it, no way a star wars game is getting that kind of treatment

@@deadfromhell1235 God this is so sad but so true. Red Dead also still have it's own devs that are still to this day updating it because its still like in the top 10 or 20 games sold on Steam.

It would be cool to be able to upgrade your ship and they give you a couple of different options, the more money you make, the better ship you can purchase. Along with customizing the character and his abilities.
Release date will be pushed back and back .. let's just hope the hype is worth it

Used to be, a lot of their top talent have left over the years. Even the studio head left and got replaced by the DICE boss. He is keeping them afloat but they are a shell of their former selves, just like Blizzard, just like CoD studios. I'd rather see a different studio work on this game, Respawn is good with multiplayer fps. Survivor was disappointing, but Respawn should have made Battlefront 1 and 2. Would've been better.

No one better than Respawn, this is great!
Theory, I wrote about and covered those games a while back. This Mando game is not the same as the other FPS game, which is inspired by the Jedi Knight series. There’s a lot happening overall, although a few details seem shaky. But some good things to look forward to that sound amazingly fun. Can’t wait to see them follow through.

Needs to be 1st and 3rd person. Why would anyone in their right mind make a game based on characters with the sickest armor and gadgets and all we get to see during gameplay is their friggin arms? 🤯

From someone who grew up in the 90's my biggest questions are... How on earth did it take Disney this long to realize they should make more Star Wars video games and who was the main person holding them back? Because that person shouldn't be allowed to touch or have any influence on Star Wars ever.
It’s a good question. There’s so much lore and easy ways to make money with this IP that’s it’s insane how badly they messed up.

they could totally do a mando game with mando having cool mando abilities but you could also have grogu floating around in hid pod using the force (controlled by you). I think some interesting gameplay could come from somthing like that
Now, if they can just make it not suck. If they try to make it a live service game with microtransactions it's DOA.
The fact we don't have a game set during the Clone Wars where you can choose different Jedi from the council or whatever is CRAZY. So much potential for stories that we don't know/Have. Different stories based on the character you choose....SOOOOO much potential

I’ve wanted a game like this for a long time. I just wish it was open world and complete character customization. Also Theory, you’re so right, who cares if the games fit into disney canon just make them fun.
I’ve been saying The Mandalorian runs like a video game since the beginning. Every time a little story arc is concluded Mando straight out levels up and gets new gear.
I hope we can design our own custom armor or at least make them look unique to different upgrades you choose, maybe even build your own ship and weapons as well! That way it can feel more personal

I would hope that if it's an FPS game you could toggle third person mode similar to Fallout New Vegas because I wanna be able to look at my character without going into some kinda photo mode

Hopefully you'll be able to hop into your razor crest, fly around and jump into hyperspace. Then manually have to fly back in the new world instead of just clicking a button to quickly switch. Or have both options idk
I hope they go the route of either you can be the cultist-esc Bounty Hunter, or the born-to-kill fire in their eyes murderous space barbarian I've always pictured Mandalorians to be since Knights of the Old Republic. Like, getting a sword (fuck you Disney Beskad exists), a big blaster carbine and just going ham.
The hope of diving down through the clouds on basilisks while armed to the teeth, ready to conquer, and doing your best imitation of Canderous Ordo was killed years ago, but perhaps we can still look forward to an airborne insertion via jetpacks as shown in season 3 of _The Mandalorian._ :)

my sense is there was an ulterior motive for introducing blaster stance for cal and letting us do bounties. maybe they wanted to test that idea in the game they already were making.

I'm personally not leaning towards a first-person Mandalorian game, but imagine the potential of a third-person adventure where you can fully customize your armor and weapons. That sounds like an absolute blast! It would truly immerse players in the rich universe of the Mandalorian.
Honestly, I think it would be a neat idea if you played as Sev from Delta Squad as his faith is still unknown. It would fit with the premise of Mandalorian bounty hunter as he is a clone of Jango Fett.

the game helldivers 2 is a great example of what a star wars game could become
Let me create my own character, give me branching storylines, different origin stories. Essentially give me Cyberpunk 2077 (fixed version) but Mando. Easy.
I'd call Survivor semi-open. Huge maps that technically connect via the Mantis but not seamless
Jedi Survivor is a level-based game. You technically can't go anywhere, there still paths on your map you have to follow, I suspect the bounty hunter game will be similar?
They could literally follow the blueprint of Hell Divers 2, but Star Wars.

It’s Respawn! Soooo you know it will be good. And yes it will be like the Jedi series where once you’re on a planet you can go anywhere but there is a linear story. But you won’t be “The Mandalorian” - you’re gonna be able to make your own Mandalorian to customize. Din Djarin will be a character you interact with. He will be Grogu-less… Grogu will not be part of this game.
The FPS is far deep into its production over at Respawn so I think that will release soon’ish. So we’ll have that to toy around with as well.

i hope it's sort of a prequel to the Mando series with Din as a young bounty hunter!!
They should make it like the Batman Arkham games but using the Mandlorian in an open-world Coruscant and utilising all his gadgets to bring home the bounties across the planet.
Star Wars theory should play star citizen and create a sort of guild as you can do bounty hunting on both players and NPC's. Also it's completely open world, multiplayer and ,most in depth space sim from fps, to flying to breaking out of jail and flying multi crew ships.

I agree….but that would also suck that it’s only 1st person. We’re like putting together the armor of our dreams but we only get to see it in shortcut scenes or just what’s on our characters arms. lol makes me hurt inside

I am usually exclusively a "force and sabers with character customization or character selection game" guy but this sounds awesome just make it open world and allow character customization and open world and im in!
I would want to make a game about Anakin or Luke’s journey like Jedi Survivor style. Not really customizing light saber but maybe with diverse outfits and beard/hair style
