When your hole gets close to the size needed, you can reverse your drill and it will still drill slowly without so much grabbing, you can clean up holes that way. A drill bit will still drill in reverse a little.
Nice job and upgrade. That lock should have come OEM but we can't have everything. If the factories did everything right we would have nothing to improve upon. I have to say to getting older and getting tired of making our rides correct. All that said one EXTREMELY important that ALL other manufacturers should pay attention to is.....TOOL FREE UFIT system. Having short arms and legs but long torso this mean so much to me. Finally just like any car or truck I can adjust the seating ergos to fit me without having to spend lots of time and $!
The one that I'm showing in this video can be found on Amazon if you search my UA-cam channel I did put a video up on that specific shift extension that I'm using. We also carry shift lever extensions on our website as well. A shift lever extension can easily help you get it from forward to reverse by giving you just a little bit of extra leverage. www.blrtuning.co
Pretty cool but given the plastic of the lever I can't help but think a flat head screwdriver would easily pry the lever off the lock in just a couple seconds. Someone with the means and inclination to steal the bike likely wouldn't even be slowed down by that.
Scroll through my UA-cam channel my entire Honda Grom bike build is on there I've been doing UA-cam videos on Honda groms for a long time.. if you know anybody that needs their Grom tuned please let me know I do tuning on Fridays and Saturdays

I took the bottom bolt off only. Drilled out the key hole with a wood hole bit. Installed the whole thing .put the bolt back done.
All I can think of is all the different keys you've got for this thing now lol. Still though, sick ride.
Does it have to be that specific screw or it can be any screw ?
I'm not sure which screw you are talking about
Where did you get that shifter extension?
