The “12V Cell Phone / GPS Docking Station with JBL Bluetooth Speakers” is an essential mod kit for the Can-Am Ryker to improve audio performance and user interface accessibility. The docking station is mounted to the center of the Ryker's handlebars and sports a 12v cigarette lighter, as well as a 2.1 amp dual port usb charge port. The JBL Bluetooth Speakers bolt onto the docking station where they provide 40 watts of high quality digital audio for exceptional audio quality in the most obtrusive of on-road environments. The speakers are waterproof to accommodate their outdoor use, and their Bluetooth compatibility keeps the interface of the Ryker free of unnecessary wires. They also boast an "auto-off" feature that helps to conserve the Ryker's battery life when the speakers are not in use. The “12V Cell Phone / GPS Docking Station with JBL Bluetooth Speakers” is exceptionally useful for managing electrical devices as well as keeping everything fully charged while on the road. Riders are able to listen to their favorite audio programs without resorting to headphones, which are notorious for limiting a rider's ability to react to dangerous situations while driving. The new wiring design for the docking station portion of the install is a Plug N Play connector that plugs directly into the accessory port under the upper fairing! The speakers themselves will still run directly to the battery for power!
Does these speakers come with amp? I just got them installed Saturday at Mancuso I pick her up tomorrow.

Cool product. I really like the setup to the fuse box. But, I didn’t like the ground wires going to the battery. There are too many wires going to the battery. There has to be a better looking way.

Wow bro, you had me until the battery connections, remove all negative battery connections first, then remove and connect positive connection, then reconnect negative connection. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way and it was expensive.
What size fuse is that blue one that is added ??

The RAM mount alone is $100 from Can-AM, heck I’m just gonna buy this and get a phone mount, charger and audio setup.
Hello Leroy, we don't sell Genuine BRP parts.. so I have not personally been able to test that windshield. With that said, I looked up some pictures online and it looks as though the two products should work together fine.

Up to about 55 mph.
Missed a step. Need to make sure you heat up those but connectors and shrink the heat shrink to help with weather protection

Why could not the replacement screws on the handlebar mounts be black to match what you replaced??
Hello Ray, each MFG has a different opinion on that. Stainless is the best option for weather resistance long term. You could go with black oxide coated bolts but stainless is the best choice.

Hello Tawon, no you cannot. The system requires a bluetooth device to stream music. The USB ports onboard the device and the docking station are charge ports to charge your phone, etc.
I have a windscreen on my Ryker, will this setup get in the way?
I don't know what shield you have.. but this system works with most the shields on the market.
Will there still be room to add a windshield?
Yes, this JBL setup works with all of the windshields we've tested.

Hello Bxodyssey, we start routing the docking station harness down to the fuse block at approx 1:50. They'll be two harnesses. One for docking station power and one for the JBL Speaker power.
Same question mine did not come with the wires to connect the fuses or the disconnector cord. Anyone else?

We don't have anything with a subwoofer if that's what you mean... but we do have a system that will be using 6 1/2" kickers RGB speakers launching in the next few months. That will offer much more mid bass than this setup will.

Yeah! Any 12v mod running after the engine is turned off, will run your battery down.
Will this fit if I have a wind shield?
Hello Hannah, yes this JBL system fits with both the F4 and MadStad windshields we sell on our site. I have only confirmed fitment with those two shields MFG's.

Hello Mabel, if you listen to the stereo with the engine off.. it would indeed drain the battery. If you listen while you ride, you're good to go. The speakers are IP rated and intended to be outdoors. The USB ports have rubber boots and caps for water protection as well. Thank you!

O wouldn't feel safe with that phone clip, I saw that phone bouncing at speed i can see that phone flying!
Hello Smiley, Ram Mounts are some of the beefiest phone mounts on the market.. they've been thoroughly tested in UTV's and Offroad racing applications. They will flex as you ride as the clips are spring loaded and the restraints are rubber.
RAM is great. I can put a 7” GPS in the extra large and it doesn’t budge. Smaller one for my phone.
Love the setup. Up to what speed can you hear them?
I have these speakers and with a helmet I can't here them over 45mph

I would say these are best heard at "non highway" speeds unless you're wearing a half shell helmet that does not block the ears.

The Ram Mount Phone Mounts come with a Elastic Tether that grabs all 4 corners of your device in addition to the spring loaded rubber phone mount itself. Never had someone lose a device on the road in our 5 years of selling these Ram mount phone holders.

Can you hear them at 60mph?
With a full face helmet.. I'd say NO. With a skull cap helmet.. i'd say it's Audible.. but not super loud at highway speeds.

I dont like that the screw heads are not blacked out like the ones that they are replacing. Also it looked like the speaker that you control volume etc from is on the right side which means you have to be off throttle to control it. Controls for audio should be on the left so you can adjust if needed on the move.
Hello Jeff, thanks for the feedback. We went stainless on the hardware so that it doesn't rust. The speaker volume control is indeed on the right speaker but the speakers locations can be switched with one another if so desired. Thanks!

Helly Lynell, that's the new Plug N" Play design the MFG has gone with. Now the dockng station simply plugs into the plug n play accessory port on the left side of the bike for power. Why in the World would you Picky Back off an Existing Fuse when the Battery is inches away!!!
This is definitely not how a Professional would install this product.
This should be Hardwired to the Battery with a InLine Fuse.
You fry that Fuse Box by Piggy Backing off that Fuse You just Voided Your Warranty for some CHEAP Speakers.
Hello Rick, the speakers amplifier does indeed pull off the battery for power. The docking station now goes to an "unused" accessory power port underneath the upper right side fairing. So it would be a dedicated fuse for the docking station. You wouldn't want to run your docking station directly to the battery for power as it would remain on at all times and drain your battery. The docking station needs to be connected to an ignition power source so it turns on/off with the ignition.
I have a 15 inch windshield on my Ryker, I wonder if I can still install this on my bike without having to take my windshield off
