- Cadavra is a boss concept that was teased by Edmund Mcmillen in the middle of the development of The Binding of Isaac Repentance. The boss was never finished and didn't make it into the final version of the DLC, that's why the modding team "Compliance" decided to use the existing sprites and turn them into their own version of this new corpse boss!

Yo sorry for the long break but I'm back! Keep in mind that I only use 2 damage ups and tears ups for the showcase! It may seem harder than it is. Also fun fact: it is enough to kill just Cadavra (the head) to finish the fight. If you can quickly deal 300 damage upon entering the room the boss is a oneshot :P

The way he switches between his forms is what makes him harder than it may seem at first, but that’s why he is so innovative! Too bad he didn’t make it to the full game…

@@dwanedibly8129 there was some discussion about adding Mortis and a Void/Delirium rework but a month or two ago the main dev said he was taking some time off and was done with Isaac for the foreseeable future. He apologized for over promising but it very much seems like unless someone else steps up we're never going to see the last few bits of Repentance content officially implemented.

Well, I might have something planned. (i know what to make different from maid though since she was originally a min min)
One interesting feature a friend saw on Maid's concept art was that Maid had what appeared to be a conductor's wand in her hands, maybe she could use that wand to control wisp like a conductor controls the instruments of an orchestra, something like the Scornet Maestro from Pikmin 3 if you know what I mean

chimera was all the way back in antibirth, i'd say it's the other way around
Is this really the best TC can do for Cadavra? Surely they could've taken a bit more time in the conceptual stage so that you could come up with something more novel than "boss that alternates between two sets of generic bullet patterns"
It's called, I was the lead coder of the project, and i couldn't do any fancy tricks
Though That might change for the next boss planned (i'm really proud of one of the attacks)
Let's be honest, the Cadavra was most likely the prototype of the Chimera, I don't understand the hype around it.
Chimera was back in antibirth. Cadavra happened after Chimera so definitely there was something more to it
